Overall, it was an okay experience. When we checked in I was told that my room "wasn't that great" by the front desk clerk. I don't know why she would tell me this. She then told me the hotel was booked so there wasn't a different room but to let them know if I had any problems. There was nothing different about my room than my friend's room and we were both right across from the elevators. Her desk clerk didn't tell her that her room wasn't that great so I don't know why mine did. It really threw me to know they were knowingly giving me a terrible room and telling me about it. Being near the elevator can be loud, so possibly that is what she meant. They also never explained the internet or parking to me at check in so we paid too much to park in the garage the first night. I was also charged for internet without really knowing, but this was taken off my bill at check-out. The hotel is older and could use a few updates in the bathrooms especially. The bed was comfortable though and I had no major complaints with the hotel or room itself. Another hotel employee told another friend staying at the hotel that she was too heavy to lean on a railing. It seems the staff may need a little extra training in how to talk to hotels guests.
The only thing I didn't like was parking was ridiculous. They offer free parking but space is very limited so in turn you have no choice but to pay for parking. And the parking garage is about a block away
This is a nice new hotel in Bricktown within easy walking distance of everything around Bricktown as well as to Chesapeake Energy arena for Thunder games, concerts. The hotel is everything you expect from Holiday Inn Express, clean rooms, free breakfast. All the furniture is brand new, modern look, very nice. Hotel staff was very accommodating. There is no parking lot so its $12/night (free to come and go) to park through their valet service which was very quick and efficient. You text the valet when you're ready to leave and your car is there quick.
We were on the 3rd floor of the hotel and the only issue we had was the ceilings were "creaky". We could hear the folks above us walking around until late in the evening and then again early in the morning. Reminded me of an old apartment complex I used to live in... so the room you get may not be entirely quiet. Perhaps you can select a room on the top floor.
We booked this hotel for one night only. We wanted something close to Bricktown for a convenient walk to the Thunder Game. The staff was awesome and the room was amazing! The bed was incredibly comfortable and cleanliness here is off the chart. If you're into going out to clubs, our hotel was right across the street from three great ones. We walked straight across the street and into our hotel. We had a blast and will definitely be going back.
