From the moment we stepped inside the door, we knew we had made the right choice in choosing this hotel. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the décor is modern and cosy, and the staff are lovely. Check in was simple and straightforward. We stayed in 'Oak' which overlooks the front of the building. The king room is spacious, with a lovely en suite shower room. We were delighted to find some tasty snacks, bottled water, and tea and coffee to enjoy. The room was warm, the bed was so...

Lovely new property - had everything you needed and very spacious. Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). Fabulous stay and would love to come back!

Excellent condition, very comfortable and entirely pleasant, efficient and friendly staff.

An excellent small hotel in a rather grand Victorian house on the main road in Callendar. Easy walk into town. Great base for exploring the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Stunning scenery. Recommend going to Lock Katrine, it is beautiful. Loch Lomond was best on its east side, the west side is nearest Glasgow and attracts a lot of people in the summer. The nearby waterfall is worth the walk. The couple who run the hotel are friendly and helpful, and put on the best breakfast we has...

Easily located near Stirling, accommodation is separate from restaurant creating a quiet secure atmosphere. Rooms are clean and perfect for short stay with all you expect in modern hotel.

booked as an overnight stay as we returned back home after a holiday on Skye, a great hotel with really friendly efficient staff everywhere, nothing was too much trouble for anyone - loved the welcoming warm chocolate brownies on arrival.

Was curious about Andy Murray's investment in a country hotel. But as I drove up the private road you could see why. It's a lovely secluded residence. It was a relatively quiet night I stayed at with maybe 33-50% occupancy, and I was given a nice upgrade. The fixtures and fittings were extremely high tier, mixed with antique/period pieces. Among other things I had a lovely writing desk looking out to the grounds which would no doubt be a lovely and inspirational place to pen some thoughts or a...

Lovely warm welcome on arrival. Very large comfortable bed, quite.

Wonderful stay! Lovely rooms and comfy beds! Probably the best breakfast we’ve had! Lovely homemade bread, smoothies and yoghurt pots! Hosts were lovely and accommodating! Would highly recommend this B&B

Room was great , enjoyed the shower as stayed in other hotels in callander and they were either frozen or no power. Had dinner in bar the food was cooked from scratch and very tasty. Staff are friendly.

Great location , good value and comfortable rooms , would be very happy to stay again

Great town to base yourself we stayed there for 8 years so we know this . The guest house is beautiful back from the road so very peaceful. The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The room we had was a small double and it was immaculate, clean and had everything you need . Breakfast was excellent and there was plenty to eat . You won’t be disappointed

Lovely stay

We were made to feel very welcome when we arrived. Accommodation was very comfortable & clean. Shower was amazing. We had a room overlooking the river. Great choice at breakfast. Would definitely recommend having the full breakfast.

Lovely old building with character, staff were very helpful, hotel was central, where we wanted to be and descent parking.

Ideal location for exploring Stirling. Comfortable bed. Nice layout. Great that the car park was literally outside the back door

Amazing stay at this hotel. Staff were attentive, breakfast was amazing and a great range of drinks at the bar. Highly recommend!
