The location was amazing. The bar on the waterfront was convenient. There was plenty of variety when it came to breakfast. Access to the pool involved a bit of a climb and although there was a bar there was no food available.

We were in Cala Gonone last year and ate at the restaurant on the sidewalk , we said if we ever came back this is where we would stay, and here we are back there. Our room was very large, great size balcony and a spa, so worth having the so to cool down from the extreme heat. All staff are just so friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent. Only minor thing was the room cleaning, no empty glasses were removed , minor as l said but overall we would def come back. The location is excellent, great beaches over the road, pebble beaches, port ten min stroll. Thankyou to our wonderful host who always had a smile, she is the owner and works like a Trojan to make all happy. Oh and the breakfast was amazing also.

A very nice hotel with delightful staff.
So, i thought really hard about this review. The hotel was great and the staff was very kind and accommodating and the location is fantastic! The only downsides to this hotel are that the bed was a bit hard for my taste and The hotel has a very loud echo and you can hear a lot of what is going on in the hotel. Ill leave it at that… The AC is a little on the slow side as well. But, that is kind of the experience no matter where you go in the EU. The bed was definitely on the firm side. Which, i wish was something that more people would leave in their reviews as I like a softer mattress. The hotel itself is very pretty and the food is fantastic and the location is perfect. I don’t think there is much they could do about the echo. Overall, a very nice hotel in a great location. Just keep the firmness in mind if you like a softer mattress.

Amazing views but…
The hotel location is perfect and the views in the mornings are beautiful. Disappointing was to find the jacuzzi was dirty and was not draining well. When asked about it the staff came to the room to check it and said they’ll make the adjustment after the hotel closes, they didn’t solve our problem. On the second day we found that the sheets were not changed. The staff at the bar was really pleasant and the food was not bad as well as the drinks/cocktails. Overall, nice but could be better!

The property is right on the shoreline with direct access to the beach in a lively area. Parking IS NOT included as advertised, instead, you'll have to find a free parking spot in the narrow streets of Gala Gonone.

Cala Gonone Holiday
We had a lovely week long stay at Hotel Ristorante La Conchiglia. Cala Ginone and the surrounding area is simply wonderful, si many beautiful beaches and lots to do. You need to be a little bit adventurous to really get the most out of the area, as some beaches require a 90 minute hike to reach and you really need a car to appreciate everything the arra has to offer. The hotel is of a good standard, very clean and welcoming, service is relaxed but when required of a good standard. The buffet breakfast was very good and it was lovely to be able to take our breakfast and sit outside overlooking the sea. The hotel seems to compare well with others on the seafront. Parking can be found within easy walking distance. Our only complaint was that the bed was a bit hard but we do appreciate that this is an individual thing. Would definitely use this hotel again.

Great beach front location
Nice, quiet hotel with fantastic location. We had two rooms with balcony and partial sea view. A/C was a clear benefit in the August 30+ Celsius weather. Breakfast was acceptable and the possibility to sit outside or partially outside overlooking the sea was fantastic.

Great location directly on the water. Beautiful views from the terrace at dinner. There is a breakfast buffet with plenty of options and good cocktails at the restaurant in the evening....dinner was disappointing though. The rooms are basic, bathrooms nice and our balcony had a side view of the ocean.

Nice hotel near everything you need!
Nice stay in a comfortable hotel, close to the seafront, port and local restuarants. For the price cannot fault the hotel, room was nice. Parking is available nearby, expect a short walk though as most of the parking is paid parking unless you find a empty space nearby.

Everything OK, except that the night/evening employees were not empowered and they were not able to confirm us if we could extend our stay for one more day. Our request was not communicated to the morning staff (fully empowered), and at the end we needed to move to another hotel. Personnel should be empowered also in the evening to secure a booking/extension.

Great location but no parking and they closed the street down after 8 PM so you cant drive down it. They also advertised chairs and umbrellas but no one in the hotel knew anything about it. Staff was not very hospitable and only cared about what they we doing at that moment. The restaurant was the WORST food I have ever experienced in my life and I would highly suggest walking away from the beach/tourist to find any better.

Staff were really helpful and most speak English Unfortunately the room was slightly disappointing as the fridge didn't work, the cable linking sky to the tv was missing and you can only get wifi in the main building (where the restaurant is housed# Breakfast provides plenty of choice, although they very quickly ran out of bowls . . . every day! That said they ensured some were washed and given to us Overall the room was good with fully functioning air-conditioning; very clean, with fresh towels provided each day #not so eco-friendly) and plenty of space

Rigtig fint hotel, morgenmaden var over Italiensk standard (som normalt er espresso og en croissant) Muligheden for at sidde og spise med udsigt over vandet er fantastisk. Vores værelse havde terrasse lige ved udluftningen fra køkkenet, så det var ikke behageligt at sidde på terrassen til spisetid grundet duften af friture. Vi blev dog en ekstra dag grundet beliggenheden

Sehr schöne Lage, nah am Strände und Spaziergänge. -Das Zimmer war zwar schön aber voller Ameisen, trotz der Versuch sie zu beseitigen. - Unser Zimmer hat eine komische Geruch, es kam aus der Badezimmer ( das war aber kein Schuld der Reinigungskräfte) - Wifi war sehr schlecht .

Hotel nuovissimo, personale cirtese e disponibile, cucina onesta. Piacevolissimo soggiorno con vista mare anche durante la colazione. Sicuramente ci ritornero.

Schönes Hotel in guter Lage direkt am Strand. Sehr gutes und hilfsbereites Personal. Die Zimmer sind ok, leider aber sehr hellhörig. Vor allem der geflieste Flur ist sehr laut. Um 5 Uhr morgens endet die Nacht, wenn Gäste mit Ihrem Koffer vorbei klappern. Schade, ansonsten wirklich gut.

Purtroppo per problemi legati alla salute di un mio familiare ho dovuto rinunciare al mio soggiorno. Avendo una prenotazione che NON prevede il rimborso non posso dare giudizi obbiettivi. Petit hôtel convivial et très bien placé en bord de mer dans la charmante ville de cala Gonone. Petit déjeuner correct (manque de viennoiseries pourtant en vente aux touristes) avec une magnifique vu sur la plage ce qui remonte fait un plus le matin ;) .
