It was late, dark but no wind and fairly calm, nearby hotels and BnB coming down Alishan were all fully booked (because of the park closure), luckily, found this Green Hotel in Chiayi and were able to book 3 rooms. Rooms were spacious, clean with a good layout separating toilet and shower area. Next morning we found a 5 star rated cafe in an alley just around the corner, run by a young barista, a winner of business start-up sponsored by the Chiayi city's Economic Affairs Dept, coffee beans roasted on site, grounded right before brewing, with a relaxing seating area.
