Excellent location in Dinkelsbühl
Fantastic location. An excellent choice for visiting Dinkelsbühl. Good space and all the essentials, albeit not super fancy. Perfect for a couple or if you need to get work done. Comfortable bed.

Loved this hotel!!!
The Hezelhoff Hotel was everything we had hoped it would be. We were greeted immediately by our hosts and they were helpful with regards to unloading and even went with my wife to help her park our car. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel in general had an awesome vibe. Also recommend the Luis restaurant across the street. It is affiliated with the hotel I believe and despite them being very busy, the hotel was able to get us reservations. Food was amazing and recommend sitting downstairs if possible. Great experience overall, would stay here again!!!

The hotel is beautifully and well appointed. The room is more like a small apartment with a kitchenette and it is centrally located. The breakfast is excellent with high quality selection and very good coffee

We were on a touring holiday and used your site to book a stop. From our balcony we could see both the castles. The staff were very attentive and we had a great meal. Well worth staying here.

Good: Nice bed and lots of room to stretch out. Breakfast buffet was great and the hotel is right in the middle of the old town. Not so good: No air conditioning so we had to keep the window open and there was a lot of noise late at night. Only three reserved parking spots two blocks from the hotel and they didn’t bother telling us to drop our luggage in the lobby so we had to schlep it a long way on cobble stone streets. The shower was difficult for tall people and the mirror in the bathroom was tiny. Overall a nice hotel for our one night in Dinkelsbuhl.

Amazing Hotel along the beautiful Romantic Road!
The Hezelhof Hotel in Dinkelsbuehl, GE is one of the best hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. It is so well done, so warm and cozy feeling that we will go back again and again. It is such a unique hotel with all of the top notch features and fixtures that you feel happy to just be in the room. The room was one of the largest we have stayed in during our numerous trips to Europe and the bathroom was very large and spacious with a wonderful shower. We highly recommend the Hezelhof Hotel to anyone wanting a room along the Romantic Strasse. So many of the wonderful stops on the Romantic Strasse are within easy driving distance from this hotel in the wonderful old, walled city of Dinkelsbuehl.

Location was extremely convenient in the old town center. The room was quite large and had a kitchenette and a nice sitting area. The bed was tucked away behind the closet to the left as one walked into the room and one had to climb a few steps to get to the living area and bathroom. We parked our car in front of the building. At first they said it is OK but after learning about our plan to leave by the check-out time of 11 the next day they instructed us to park the car in an alley nearby that had 3 reserved parking spots. We were not told that there would be a 10 Euro charge for the spot, otherwise, we would have managed our current spot cause street parking was free until morning and would become 1-hour parking afterwards. We were disappointed by the breakfast especially after having read some of the positive comments of other reviewer. The breakfast ingredients were not very fresh and seemed to have been kept in the frig for too long. Maybe it was just the slow traffic of that time of the year (March 13) or maybe it was just bad luck but the cheese and meat tray had been kept in the refrigerator without any cover, hence making them dry, and some of the tastes were mixed together. The high-adjustable shower wouldn’t stay secure and slide down the pole. We had to keep it in place with one hand while showering with the other. The water drained very poorly, and when we reported these the next day, the management said they would look into it, but did not show much concern.

New year's eve
Lovely hotel in the centre of beautiful Dinklesbuhl. Nice clean large rooms which are well maintained. Nice food in the restaurant with an extensive breakfast menu. No down sides to the hotel, just watch out for the church bells in the town.

The Hezelhof Hotel is one of the best spots I’ve ever stayed at! We got stuck in traffic so we missed the check in cutoff time. Staff were very friendly about it and made sure we would be able to check in. The room was modern and very clean. It was very quiet and relaxing. On top of that, the breakfast was great! Will definitely be returning and recommending.

My room was nice and large. It had one of the biggest bathrooms I've seen in a hotel. Nice wood flooring. Also, Dinkelsbuhl is a nice town to visit for a day or weekend. Great history museum of the town. Good place to walk around and see the architecture.

Modern in an amazing old building
We stayed for one night, family of 5 and had 2 superior double rooms. The staff were all fantastic, really helpful. The restaurant opposite was also great for dinner and breakfast the next morning. The rooms are tastefully decorated to a high quality and the cleanliness was perfect. Our children were made very welcome, we would certainly wish to stay again in this super hotel in a wonderful town. Thank you.

We stayed one night. It was a lovely old building with ultra modern rooms which were somewhat minimalist and rather clinical. Our room was effectively a suite, with rather small furniture within a huge living area, complete with a sink unit and kettle. Crockery was provided but there were no cooking facilities. The breakfast was very good and was served in the cafe across the road. The hotel was ideally situated right in the centre of the town. We were given a late checkout until 12:00, without charge. This lovely town can easily be explored within a few hours.

This hotel has been renovated. It is quiet and very nice. The hotel owns a restaurant which is situated right across the hotel where they serve a very good breakfast.

Perfect location
This was a nice stay and I would stay here again. The hotel's location was PERFECT. The room was clean, comfortable, and I was amazed at how big it was. It was more "modern" than I would have originally planned on, but I did fully enjoy the stay. My only disappointment was the staff. When checking in the lady was not particularly friendly and it seemed like it was a pain to help us. Checkout was better, but also seemed indifferent. Want a good location and a nice place? This is it :)

Lovely hotel in a fabulous location
Hotel was very stylish in the centre of dinkelsbuhl. Rooms are very spacious. The only issue with the hotel is lack of parking but it is the same for most hotels in the town centre. If you want and parking spot phone before you arrive to get an allocated space.

Terrific Hotel
Dinkelsbuhl is a great town that captures old Germany. Perfect location for jumping point to see Bavaria and the Romantic road. Loved the town and the hotel. Family really enjoyed the breakfasts.

Beautiful historic hotel
This hotel is fantastic. Though the hotel is actually one of the older buildings in the town square, the interior is modern and very comfortable, and the service was excellent! The hotel is located in the heart of quaint and beautiful Dinkelsbuhl, thus parking can be a bit of a challenge, meaning very limited parking options. Excellent cafes and restaurants are all within easy walking distance.

Quaint town with a modern hotel
We were well received, our booking was in order, the hotel is very modern and well maintained. The room was large, although a L shape with two single beds agains the wall. That is possibly the only complaint. The room was well lit, super clean and had ample toilet supplies. Great linen and was warm. Easy access to the room and a great breakfast was included the next morning. Definitely a place to go and the town is amazing.

The Center of Dinkelsbuhl
The room was really big compared to most hotels in europe. It was very clean and appeared to have been recently updated. The bed was also very comfortable. The location is really great in the center of Dinkelsbuhl, but if you are a light sleeper, be warned that the church is right across the street and the bells start ringing at 6AM! I slept through them easily, but heard comlaints from my better half.

Great hotel on Romantic Road
Out of five (highly rated by others) hotels we stayed at in Bavaria this was the best experience overall. The welcome was friendly and efficient. Wi-fi super reliable. We were immediately offered an English language leaflet containing info about Dinkelsbuhl and a lovely short circular walk around the main sights. As we had arrived in the evening and needed to leave early next morning we completed the walk and then had a great dinner at the Luis restaurant across the street from the rooms and where the excellent hotel breakfast buffet is also served. We visited Rothenburg ob der Tauer the next day and were glad we seemed to have made life easier and quiet for ourselves by breaking the journey at this smaller but just as pretty walled town. Great hotel.

More like an apartment than a hotel room
Lovely quaint hotel , very large rooms, more like a very large one bedroom apartment than a hotel room. Very comfortable, and lovely views of potted plants in an interior private entrance to the rooms. Relaxing! Centrally located. The only slight negative was the breakfast buffet in the restaurant across the cobblestone street, owned by the hotel. Not at the same standards in our opinion than the other quaint hotels we stayed in throughout Germany. But certainly passable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hezelhof Hotel. The location was great and the Staff was wonderful. In Dinkelsbuehl, this is the hotel I recommend.

Enttäuschend. An sich ein originelles, verwinkeltes Altstadtgebäude mit grosszügig bemessenen Zimmern. Die Einrichtung jedoch ist kühl und ohne Charme, auch im Restaurant. Die Auswahl der Speisen dort ist sehr dürftig, das Essen mittelmässig. Zum Frühstücken wurden wir in die Goldene Rose drei Häuser weiter geschickt - angeblich ein Fünfsternhotel. Die Qualität des Frühstücks löste diesen Anspruch nicht ein. Dass die Brandruine des ehemaligen Restaurant Luis vis à vis nach Jahren immer noch steht, erhöht die Attraktivität des Hezelhof ebenfalls nicht.

Het was een hele verrassing dat de hotelkamers zo ruim waren en een eigen kookgelegenheid hadden. Het waren meer hotelappartementen. Wij verbleven er een nacht, maar ik kan mij prima voorstellen dat je hier een week verblijft. Het is een bijzonder stadje en het heeft gezellige straten en horeca-gelegenheden.
