Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American
10/10 Excellent
"I stayed in Clayton Hotel, the exterior of the building is historic, but the inside is very modern and maintained well. I took one star off on service as the staffs at the buffet restaurant are kind of impatient, I waited 45 minutes for my omelette, after all. Think they are understaffed at the restaurant. One waitress was screaming at another one publicly when they got busy. Anyway, it’s a great stay after all"
"We booked the room with the view on the top floor and couldn't have been happier. 10/10. Bed was comfortable, shower was amazing, and SO QUIET. Probably the best sleep we've had while traveling. Plus you can't beat this location. Loved having the coffee shop downstairs to start the day. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful as well!"
"Very nice hotel in a great location in Amsterdam. We liked the breakfast each morning. The view from our window of the Rijksmuseum was great. There are many restaurants, shops and sites, as well as museums, all around the hotel. The staff are helpful, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend this hotel!"
"This was a great place to stay in Amsterdam if you want to be close to the museums and restaurants. It was clean, and the staff was accommodating. It was a little noisy outside in the evenings with street cars and people. We visited in July, and with no air conditioning we needed to keep our windows open.
Overall a good place to stay."
