"decent nights stay but i wouldn’t choose this hotel again. there is no air conditioning - we were there on a 90 degree day. i was loudly scolded by the breakfast room attendant for taking an unfinished water bottle with me from the dining area - i was “supposed to consume it in the dining room.” breakfast costs paris style prices for baguette, croissant, and coffee. overall: hot, unfriendly, only moderately comfortable. "What a wonderful place close to the Loire. This old farmhouse offers spacious rooms and a generous breakfast in the morning. The owners are so helpful and lovely. It is not the Ritz in Paris, but it is a gem in the countryside. From here you can drive easily to the amazing castles along the Loire. We will be back! "
