The facility has changed since some of the bad reviews in that there is piwer during the day unless generator being topped up. The snorkling around the facilty is good and even better when the turtles pass daily. The food is good and varied over the 4 nights we stayed. Negatives: Very dated hotel, worn stained carpets throughout. Had to move rooms due to noisy aircon. Aircon very weak. Bedding very old and worn. Funiture in room very dated, lots of unsightly stains on the upholstery. The hotel is very cheap, so cant really complain, guess you get what you pay for, but there is little other choice in Tawau.
