"Perfect hotel to stay a night in after arriving into Colombo. We did a city Tuk Tuk tour before heading to Sigiriya the following day. Lovely cafe on the 6th floor. Special thanks to Yasasna on reception for telephoning our airline several times to track our delayed luggage."

"Ac:n funkade inte riktigt, satte ned den till 16 grader för att kyla ner men det alldrig kallare än 23,5 grader vilket är rent för mycket för oss. En del av personalen i poolbaren verkade lite för mycket intresserade av sin telefon än att servera/serva kunderna, man var väldigt snabbt framme när det kom ett gäng snygga tjejer än när vi 50+ kom och ville beställa. Gillade inte att det var en saltvattenpool, känns lite ofräscht."

"Mixed experience. The room was a good size, the pool area was pleasant and never felt overcrowded, and the gym was modern and well equipped. Breakfast also offered a wide choice, and staff throughout the hotel were generally polite and welcoming. What let it down was the overall standard of service. Check-in felt unpolished and slightly disjointed — we weren’t given basic practical information such as breakfast times, where breakfast was served, or the opening hours for the pool and gym. The breakfast room was very busy and we had to find a table ourselves, which felt out of step with what you would expect from a hotel at this level. The bedroom itself had a noticeable stale smell that was difficult to shift given the windows cannot be opened. We also experienced intermittent issues with the Wi-Fi, which was frustrating. So overall, disappointing, particularly compared to other Shangri-la hotels. What I would say was that we provided this feeeback directly to the hotel and the GM personally acknowledged the issues which was appreciated from a customer service perspective. "

"The first thing I noticed was the courteous and ready to help staff, Taj has large tree covered property with both ocean and city views. I used the buffets styled restaurant offering international food and with more Indian themed food choices. (not surpised there since Taj is an Indian hotel company and at my visit, majority of guest were Indians. "

"Friendly, courteous and ready to help staff. Great views from higher floors. And at the top floor, Pool and the bar with distance views of the Knuckles mountain range. Buffet meals were good and at my visit this time Indian themed, due to majority of visitors were Indian. This was my second visit. For me the price to quality of service ratio for Radisson is excellent. "

"The hotel and rooms are great. The infinity pool overlooking the Indian ocean is a sight to behold. We had dinner and breakfast buffets at the Quizine and the food was very flavourful and lots of variety."
