Perfect in every way, great location lovely gardens rooms were spacious and spotless and the continental breakfast was plentifull. The hosts live on the site and Kerry made us feel very welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended and look forward to staying again very soon.

We took our little boy for an over night stay and the illuminations and we all loved it. The resort view was great, the illuminations looked great at night from the room. The onsite amenities like the soft play and super child friendly resteraunt were great. We loved the everything about it and have already booked to come back at Christmas this year.

Great location, friendly staff, had everything needed for a pleasant stay.

We both enjoyed our stay at the Red Lion, the staff could not do enough for us, especially as I wanted to make sure Motorbike was in a secure place. Ideal for a relaxing break, even if the have a function on, as you cannot hear any music, plus the beds are so relaxing that you just want to get out of bed.

It is a lovely property with lots of original Art Deco features. The staff are very friendly and happy to spend time with you.

Really relaxing and enjoyable stay. Close to city centre, whilst being remote enough to enjoy some piece and quiet. Wish we had booked for longer. Will definitely recommend and return again.

Staff very friendly and helpful..bar restaurant and lounge all beautifully decorated and in keeping with age of the building.the grounds are so relaxing and small but well maintained with plenty of lovely seating ..will visit again in summer to make to most of this outside space ..total fantastic relaxing couple of days

Free parking 2 minutes walk Easy access with codes provided in advance. No staff on site, but we had no call for them. Old building with renovated modern touch to the room. Not for people with mobility issues, main staircase winding/step/narrow. Room clean but not thoroughly (dust on sockets) Iron & ironing board provided, plus kettle & tea/coffee/sugar/milk Huge bed, was comfy with nice linen Wardrobe with safe and desk/dressing table and a full length mirror Excellent value for money
