"The hotel had lots of stuff to do, but the actual room was old and run down. We had to keep calling for wash cloths & towels. The bathroom was super small & had hair in it. I asked for a king bed & they gave 2 queen beds "

"We stayed at ocean front room, nice ocean view and sunrise view for a week. There’s no cleaning at the room at all only come pick up trash and bring new towels. The first day we stayed the shower wasn’t drained, wondering why they didn’t checked the room before check in. The breakfast was okay but they are the same almost every day. The Staff were friendly at the breakfast."

"The room was newly renovated. We've stayed here multiple times before. Love this place. The staff is wonderful, the pools are great, it's away from the crowd, but close enough to everything. This time we did run into a few issues. The bath tub wouldn't drain, there was no fitted sheet on the bed, remote was missing and they couldn't find one until the next morning. So we didn't watch tv at all. Other than that. Great place to stay."

"Worn out, sagging mattress. Dirty bathroom Narrow, noisy hallways. Paper thin walls and doors that slam. I won’t stay here again. "

"The hotel was great but on the weekend the pool was packed and people left towels on chairs that were not being used. It wasn’t clear if all those people were even staying at the hotel. It would have been nice to enjoy the pool more. The place was clean and the location was excellent. The staff was very nice but the valet attendants were loud and you can hear them right outside the window early in the morning. If it wasn’t for the pool and the noise I would have given them 5 stars. "

"Clean room, old building, old shower. Water accumulated and took a while to drain. Bath tub plug was defective. Room next door smelled awful when door opened like heavy smoking in a non smoking area. Kitchen utensils where missing some items. Oven and bruners very old. Overall acceptable stay because of ammenities."

"Wedding weekend in Charleston-hotel was well Located yo provide a lower cost option to staying in the city. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Heated pool was a plus. Would have loved a hot tub and safe in the room."

"We love the Beach House! It’s our 5th time there and we love it. The rooms are big and clean. Ashley the bartender on the porch is always so friendly and having the tiki hut live music all day is a huge plus. The food is also amazing! They recently changed the menu and it’s great! Would highly recommend "
