Find the best Provence-Alpes-Agglomération Hotels

The hotel is situated at a spectacular place, almost in the middle of nowhere. The building and rooms are well kept and nicely decorated. The building is really interesting with stone walls and stairs and many levels and passageways. Drawback is the check-in time, be aware if you arrive late and contact the owner in advance.

First of all, the hosts - Veronique and Jerome were very friendly and helpful. They made us feel very welcome and I got to practice my French a bit too! Breakfast was very nice with local produce every morning. They also gave us lots of advice about where to go. The pool was lovely and cool with a great view. The air con worked very nicely in our room. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Chris and Laura.

A high quality boutique hotel in the countryside just outside Gap. Excellent dinner, with good choice of wines and very attentive, friendly service. Proved to be a great stop over on my way down the Route de Napoleon from Chamonix to St Tropez.

Attention to little things such as placing a variety of chocolates/nougat/calissons each night on the bed and a bottle of wine to welcome guests. Food was excellent. Cocktails were lovely. Having indoor and outdoor pool was a bonus. The nearby town of Forcalquier was well worth visiting

Thé bastide is an amazing place with the owners being so flexible and accommodating. The breakfast is gorgeous.

We had a wonderful stay at La Bastide. Julian is an excellent host - very welcoming and interesting to chat to, speaking excellent English. The property is very charming, extremely peaceful and relaxing, and feels authentically Provençal. The breakfast was delicious, served in the atmospheric kitchen. Julian has done a brilliant job renovating this beautiful farmhouse. Highly recommended!

Location is very calm and attractive. The whole hotel exudes an atmosphere of quiet, yet generous simplicity and a modern interpretation of rustic charm. The bedroom was more than adequate and the whole deal was good value There is ample parking and the breakfast was sumptuous in range, quantity and quality. Unfortunately there was no restaurant service on the evening of our stay, being a Sunday. Otherwise top notch.

Host was fantastic

Really peaceful and relaxing setting. The hotel is beautifully presented, Chantal and Pedro were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was the best we have had in France and we got to enjoy it out in the beautiful garden.

Superb hotel and great location. It’s a self check-in and it works well…. Air con quiet and efficient. Room dark and super clean with lovely cotton sheets. Perfect stop in Sisteron

We love this hotel , this was a return visit and it did not disappoint. Love the food , the staff, the gardens, the room - everything. The outdoor spaces especially are stunning . I look forward to coming back in the future .

Great location within the town. Good private car parking

This felt like a very special place to stay with my husband and 4 year old son. It was a real mountain adventure and we hadn’t realised just how close the small village centres would be. We were treated to an extra surprise when there was live music in the village on the Friday night as we had a wonderful meal. Alpin d’home has thought about everything and all the small touches made it feel like a luxury stay. We would love to stay again.

We did not know what to expect but we’re very happy and delighted with the quality of the property. It’s a gorgeous setting. Excellent facilities with tennis court and spa. Outdoor pool area was very clean and tidy with lots of sun loungers under the shade. There is a fantastic waiter service serving drinks and fruit platters to the poolside although the little call buzzer wasn’t working when we stayed. The staff are very helpful and work very hard but it can feel like no one works here at...
