Lovely, comfortable log cabin (in a block of 3) in beautiful location with mountain & open country views. High elevation but gorgeous gas fire for warmth.The property is fairly remote, one mile down a gravel track (no problem) and 19 miles (20 minutes) from the small town of White Sulphur Springs which has good facilities, gas stations, restaurants etc.

For my money, the best motel in the entire state. The staff at check in were amazing, our room was spotless and comfortable. The attention to detail in the decor of the entire place is incredible. We are so glad we stayed here and I would recommend it to anyone.

Lots of character, clean and well kept. The view on the edge of Yellowstone was also great. If’s a quirky place and made a nice change from generic hotel rooms. The beds were very comfortable and you can see Tami has made a real effort to create an ambience. You can also walk around Gardiner from the hotel.

Excellent and a great alternative to the usual chains close to the airport. Met with a glass of fizz at check in, and a terrace to sit and drink it on. Fantastic food and a complimentary breakfast. Half an hour to airport.

Blue Buffalo Resort was wonderful for my recent trip to Yellowstone. The site is situated in Idaho, so I found the location perfect, as it was away from the more tourist heavy town of West Yellowstone. It's about a 30 minutes drive away. I had booked an Aspen Studio cabin which was great for just me as a solo traveller. Roomy, clean and had all the features of a hotel in a compact place. This was a last minute booking as we had not accounted for one of our travel days in our itinerary! The booking did not disappoint us and we would happily stay at this hotel or with this chain again. On arrival we were concerned about the safety of our car at this location however our concerns were quickly dispelled by the receptionist. Big room, simple but well furnished, ample space for bags and bicycle. Additional storage space by bathroom - well designed. Comfortable bed, everywhere very clean, quiet oasis even though near road. Staff were very welcoming. Parking right outside room. Overall a great place.

I would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting to spend a few days in Yellowstone. It was much better than expected and well equipped and comfortable. Better than many more expensive places we have stayed on this visit. Perfect position, nice and quiet. Would book again if we come through this way again.
