Beautiful building and luxury rooms. Staff very polite and helpful. Ideal spot to stay for Normandy Beaches and Museums. Only 3 miles from Arromanch & D Day Landings. We loved this hotel, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We will definitely return as it’s such an ideal spot for visiting the sites.

Our stay at Le Clos St Jean was wonderful! Caroline and Laurent are friendly and warm, and they take good care of the property and their guests. I was blown away by the beauty of their place. The fresh, warm croissants, pastries, bread, yogurts, cheese, and fruit, along with the local juices and jams, made for a wonderful breakfast. I only wish we would have had more time to spend relaxing in their lovely space. If I find myself in Normandy again, I will definitely have to stay here another...

Excellent accommodation in a beautiful location. Stylishly furnished, extra large bed, and a great powerful shower. Lovely gardens with a great pool. Superb breakfast. All provided by great hosts.

A real gem. On arrival the owner made us very welcome and throughout our stay he was extremely helpful. A nice, quiet, well appointed room and an excellent breakfast.The location is ideal for exploring the area. You can walk to Intra-Muros (The old town) or there is a bus stop nearby. There are also a couple of bikes you can hire from the hotel, which we did. Plenty restaurants nearby to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it. Upon arrival we were given a warm welcome from staff at the hotel. The hotel is very clean and modern. The hotel restaurant is very good offering an exquisite comprehensive menu, very reasonably priced. The staff are lovely, nothing is to much trouble. Definitely worth staying in if you go to Cherbourg.

The staff were so helpful. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed breakfast - nothing special but perfectly ok My favourite thing was the swimming pool which I booked for a private swim - bliss

The garden was beautiful. We really appreciated the tea and coffee machine which was available all day. The owner was very friendly and accommodating

Straightforward check in. Room ready for 4pm. Fridge in room , kettle, tea bags, coffee etc . Comfortable beds. Spacious room

Not cheap, but a great place for a short stay. It’s a pity the restaurant and bar are not open on Monday and Tuesday, but there are plenty of other places around.
