"Everything was great except when we arrived we did not get the room we thought we booked through Expedia. We chose 1 king bed with ocean view and had to go with 2 queens with ocean view. They were nice and gave us a corner room which was great, but just always know the type of room is never guaranteed I guess with Expedia. Also surprised everything closes early in my opinion (10pm), even the bar and adult pool and everything. As a night shifter that was a bummer haha. "

"Perfect location across the street from the beach. Not a fancy place, but comfortable enough. Everything is expensive, $63 a day for parking, $60 a day resort fee, expensive breakfast but location is unbeatable. Balcony overlooking the ocean is terrific. "

"Location was great. Walkable to town which is right there. Partial view room was great. Had our own “back deck.” Water and ice machine were nice. Coffee bar in the am was very basic. Just coffee. Pay for parking $25/night and make sure you park in the lines. We received a less than polite call informing us we were parked over the lines (I explained it was bc the person we were next to was over the line) and was told they would just charge us for two spaces then. Staff was less than friendly. I received one friendlier good morning during our two day stay. Pool looked nice. Entry way ambiance was nice but it didn’t match the rest of the hotel."

"Excellent location, clean facility and friendly and hardworking staff. Good breakfast. Air conditioner was very loud and it's very hard to sleep. If we open the windows then the outside was also loud so no good options here. Amenities weren't useful or needed, wish it was optional to pay Amenitie fee but of course it wasn't. We basically paid the fee for nothing we needed."

"The Royal Hawaiian is a nice resort with easy beach access. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We had booked an ocean view room, however we were placed on the 4th floor so our view from the balcony was a bunch of palm trees blocking the ocean."
