Great staff at front desk: helpful with securing an extra night's stay because of hurricane, excellent with bus directions and how to top up my HOLO public transportation card, perfect with procuring a taxi to Pier for the cruise!!!!! Perfectly cleaned establishment! Wonderful doing laundry in-house! I a million years would stay again and again and again! Central to all buslines for all things I needed north, south, east, and west in Honolulu!

I like the cleanliness and simplicity of the unit. I liked that there was a separate bedroom. The value for the money was well worth it. I like the washer dryer in the unit. I like the refrigerator in the unit. I like the stove top in the unit. A negative was noisy a/c, you got used to it after a while. Price worked out to a little over 200 a day for everything included all taxes and fees, but no parking. I like that you could park overnight onnearby streets within four blocks. You could also use less expensive parking garages in the area and instead of paying the usual hotel rates of around $50 a night. Good selection of food in the area, and surprisingly included vegetarian because I’m a vegetarian. Dewdrop, Umeke and another Chinatown vegan restaurant are very close to the hotel.I forgot the name of the Chinese restaurant. Quality was good and prices were right. Well, it is still downtown, it’s not nearly the density and crowded feeling of Waikiki.

The hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The rooms are dated, stuck in the late 80's. There was a lingering tobacco smell in my room. The carpet was in a bad shape. All the bathroom and kitchen surfaces and appliances were old and in rough shape. The cable TV STB in the bedroom wasn't working due to a bad connection but I was able to fix it. The employees were very nice and hospitable - they exceeded my expectations.

The location was perfect for walking to area restaurants, the port, etc. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful.
