"We really enjoyed our seven night stay at the Berkeley Hotel from the moment we arrived. On arrival we were greeted by Elma who booked us in and gave us a warm welcome before recommending somewhere to eat nearby as we had arrived quite late. The room was a very good size with a large clean bed, a small balcony with table and two chairs and a well laid out bathroom with walk in shower. "We loved our stay. The rooms are modern and comphy and we had a great view. Staff were friendly and the hotel had lots of nice little features. For example, there is a little kitchen with teas and coffee available, Netflix in the rooms and a little welcome bottle of water. Great location too. Only a short walk to the palace. We also loved breakfast- simple, tasty and a good variety. The woman who ran it was wonderful, very helpful and kind. Could not fault the breakfast at all. "

"When we arrived we had some payment issues with the taxi. The kind man at the front desk personally walked me to an ATM and when that ATM didn’t work he walked me to another one. Then walked us back to hotel and rolling our bags with him. He was as very gracious and we appreciated his help very much. The room and the restaurant were both wonderful too. This place is just outside the old city walls and easy to walk to everything. I highly recommend this hotel."
