Make sure to get groceries at Jelsa on the way in, and note that on Sundays most grocery stores even in Jelsa are closed. The house is located above a quiet village, away from most tourist activities, which for us was perfect! There are pretty beaches and great wine tasting opportunities nearby. Jelsa is a charming, larger town just 25 minutes away, with Hvar town about 50 minutes away. We loved our stay here and appreciated the beauty and seclusion of the house!
