"Upon arrival we left our luggage with the porter at the ferry dock. One of our bags was given to the wrong person. They did eventually find the bag but it was a tense few hours. In addition, the air conditioner did not cool our room. The first evening was awful, the following day maintenance came and tried to fix it. It was better but not great. Other than those two mishaps we loved Hvar and the hotel was fine."

This is a small town based hotel which is a 15 minute walk to the harbour, downhill and quite an uphill walk back in the heat, you could get a readily available cab if you wanted. The pools are small but perfect for cooling off in. We had a great stay, thanks again Hotel Terranea team."

All rooms have balconies facing the bay and a 15th century church. Breakfast is delicious with many options on the terrace, beds and linens are very comfortable. Highly recommended."

Every day the wonderful staff asked how my day was and if I was enjoying my time on Hvar and were interested in having a conversation rather than just asking a question as most hotel staff will do as they are expected to this was very different they cared about the guests that are staying at the Riva Marina hotel. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I visit Hvar."
