Amazing Great location stunning walk into town down the river and over the bridge Hotel was immaculate Breakfast and Staff all brilliant Highly recommend Brilliant place to stay

Just good for facilities as no plug socket near mirror for hair dryer and no tea/ coffee making equipment in the room which was in the garden so a good walk to restaurant. Even if this is not usually supplied, perhaps it should be given the location and standard.

From the initial welcome; to the helpful conversation about my ongoing route plans; to the helpful offer of where to park my motorcycle safely, this was the standout stay of my journey from the UK through Germany towards Bavaria. Lovely, characterful building, affordable rate and genuine interest in me, the traveller. I will most certainly look to stay here again; so many interesting places to visit nearby, and a feeling of being 'home from home'.

Great position, great bathroom, comfortable bed. Parking good. No cooked breakfast.

The hotel is very unique and lovely. The room was large and we loved the balcony , really beautiful view of the castle. The bed was comfy with really big pillows, which appear to be normal in Germany. Location is ideal and the staff helped us with our parking , as there was a wine festival on, which shut off some parking. Breakfast was first class with lots of variety and the staff looked after us really well.

The hotel is a great destination for couples or adults. The swimming pool and spa areas are not suitable for children but wonderful for adults. Everything is very clean and well looked after. We stayed in one of the south-facing rooms (last minute booking) in the older part of the hotel, the rooms was comfortably furnished and a good size. The location and views were incredible! Our room was lovely; very clean, comfortable and charming. and there was so much care and detail for our 5 year old: special sheep sheets, a kids dining set for breakfast- it really made her feel special. Breakfast was delicious, and the stocked fridge to purchase beer or wine was really nice in the evening after we put our little one to sleep - we had a beer on our balcony looking up at the castle and out to the river. We will definitely need to return!

Great location. Lovely views and very nice rooms. Easily walkable into Cochem and the Reichsburg. Lovely breakfast and welcoming staff. Would recommend
