What a paradise! Lovely big room in a gorgeous house with a superb rural setting. The swimming pool area is just perfect! The owners couldn’t have been more helpful, and recommended a great restaurant by the estuary in the evening. Great breakfast ended a wonderful stay!

Stupendous rural location. Entirely walkable from the railway station and to various supermarkets/boulangerie although perhaps slightly easier with a car. Very approachable owners, together with a friendly dog. Pure chance that we managed to catch the owner early afternoon, because the official check-in was from 5 pm, but we had no knowledge of this because Hotels.com had not included it on their website! Very clean & clutter-free & definitely recommended :-)

Beautiful property, stylish decor and excellent hosts. Great location in the lovely town of Rochefort. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The pool was a very welcome amenity particularly in the heatwave!

Charming bed and breakfast in a quiet village near Royan. Excellent breakfast, comfortable bed and very clean room. Hosts are extremely helpful. Pleasant lounge for guests to use downstairs with TV. Parking available on site.

Incredibly welcoming and a accommodating

A lovely hotel. We stayed 4 nights in Jul/Aug 2020. The staff were superb (especially helpful with restaurant reservations) the hotel was very clean and the location could not be better. One small negative - we had 2 garden view rooms between the 4 of us. Our daughters shared a room which has a fantastic shower - good pressure and coverage. Our room had an old-fashioned shower attached to the bath - low pressure and not as good. But this is a very small point - we recommend the hotel and will...

We intended to stay just for one night on our way south to Spain, but one of our number fell ill after a hectic night out. The hotel was able to accommodate us in the same room and offered to help our party's recovery and transition the next day. Kind and thoughtful members of staff made our stay really memorable.

The staff were really helpful and the disabled room was well equipped. The breakfast was really good with all fresh fruit and breads and a great choice of accompaniments

Hotel staff were very friendly and were able to understand English as we have no French. Hotel has a relaxing air, with a nice sauna, steam room and swimming pool. Breakfast is available at additional cost, but fair value for money and includes fresh fruit salad, ham & cheese, selection of breads, jams/preserves, boiled eggs, croissants, yougart, tea and coffee etc. The hotel has a bar that sells drinks, but unfortunately this closes at 9pm.
