"We loved the grounds, so peaceful and lush. Huge variety of birds, howler monkeys in the distance each morning, incredibly kind, helpful and friendly staff. Delicious food, beverages and the best swimming pool ever!"

"The 24/7 front counter is a great feature, the pool is nice, the suite upstairs had all we needed in the kitchen, and hot water with good pressure in the shower. The fridge came in handy for leftovers from our favorite restaurant just a few minutes up the street. We met friendly travelers and had a fantastic visit."

"I get that it's a pristine natural reserve. Savegre and the staff are great. It's beautiful there. Self guided hiking is great. However, prices for food and drink are really high for what you get. The beds/pillows and bathrooms were not super, they were ok. If the food/drinks were a little cheaper I'd give it 5 stars because it's an amazing place."

"The hotel has a lovely artistic Costa Rican flavor; the grounds are interesting to walk through with statues and many varieties of birds and butterflies. A lovely outdoor patio adjoined my room, and I enjoyed both the large pools. The Crocodile Grill & Bar served great food and drinks. What really sets the resort apart is the staff - they are absolutely wonderful and SO very helpful; they made me feel so special!!"

"A beautiful resort hidden on a winding dirt road atop a hill set among the trees and wildlife with an exceptional view of the Pacific Ocean below. "We liked the hotel overall. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was limited but really good. The pool is perfect. Regarding the hotel’s location it’s both good and bad. Good because it’s easy to get to Uvita but bad because of the noise coming from the highway. "
