"Highly recommend staying here! It is about 40 minutes away from La Fortuna, but very well worth it. The host offered a night tour through the huge private yard and we say so many frogs and lizards! This was a perfect and quiet relaxing stay after a day of adventure. "

"What a wonderful stay! Casa Rector was an excellent choice for our family, my brother's family and my parents. "We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."

For some reason the front desk agent gave us the hotel’s Expedia receipt he had created which showed the room a total of $63 USD cheaper. We should NEVER have been provided that information.
