"Just got back from à week at Viva Fortuna and had an excellent time! We are a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers). Here is the best overview I can give: Staff: Wish I could give more than 5 ⭐️! Everyone was extremely kind and welcoming. Bartenders were attentive and fun. Wait staff was quick to clear your plates with a smile. Kitchen staff was helpful and friendly, did a great job of keeping the buffet clean and full. Housekeeping was great! We only had our room cleaned every other day but they were available for extra towels or drinks. Groundskeepers were always working to keep the grounds tidy and clear of debris, had a pretty rough storm one night and things were clear/clean by lunch. Entertainment staff was amazing! Always on they worked so hard, very energetic and did a great job of keeping things upbeat with a variety of activities throughout the day and night. Resort/grounds: The resort is older and a bit run down in spots.Mostly the bathrooms are small and dated. It did not bother our family. The main areas bar/lobby/buffett/ pool/ A la cart restaurants were clean, tidy and looked more updated. The rest of the grounds were beautiful beach was clean and had plenty of loungers and space for all the guests. The foliage and flowers are beautiful and extremely well kept.. Food: During our stay we.mostly at the buffet, which had a variety of food options. Everyone in our group always found something to enjoy. À la cart options, or a great break from the buffet. "
