"Staff was super friendly and helpful. Property was lovely and clean and perfectly located near tourist locations. Property also had a beautiful park on site. Just a wonderful place."

"We had to pay a $16 resort fee and they said breakfast buffet was $3 per person. But the next morning we found out breakfast was $20 per person. Their restaurants didn't have much for gluten free and they were very expensive. Cheapest thing for dinner was $42! Breakfast food was very very good and beautiful view! Room was small and basic. But clean and quiet. Bed comfortable."

Yavapai Lodge

"We wanted to stay in the park. Yavapai Lodge was an excellent choice and excellent location. Please note it is not located near any other lodge, but it is located extremely close to the very large General Store and a bus stop. There are multiple buildings, so it is a walk to the check in and food lodge area. The hotel staff is very friendly and the property is clean. The A/C did not cool the room. Thankfully we were able to open the window at night. The room is very basic! Nothing extra or extravagant. Very basic!"

"We went as a staycation to enjoy the fabulous waterpark. The rooms are dated, but well maintained. They have a fitness club, pools in addition to the waterpark, quick access to the trails at South Mountain, a good restaurant, and nice views. Our room had a kitchenette and spacious closet that would work well for a longer stay. We plan to go again."

Maswik Lodge - Inside the Park

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed at Maswik Lodge inside the park during our trip, and the location is absolutely unbeatable. We had a room on the second floor with A/C, a small balcony, and really comfortable beds. The best part about this place is how accessible everything is. It’s literally a 5-minute walk to the Grand Canyon itself. The shuttle stops are right next to the lodge, including the Blue line and the highly recommended Red line. The Red shuttle is a massive plus because it takes you to viewpoints where private cars aren't allowed, so you either have to walk or take that specific bus. Parking was also close to our room and very convenient. A few things to keep in mind: the shower area is pretty dark, and there’s no kitchenette in the room, so you’ll need to plan your meals ahead of time. Also, if you need to do laundry, there are public laundromats in the park, but no machines in the hotel itself. Bottom line: This is an amazing option if you want to sleep right inside the park and have perfect access to the canyon and the shuttles while leaving your car parked. Just keep the minor room quirks in mind!"
