"We have stayed at Yavapai Lodge before and have had good experiences. Check in is at 3pm, but this time when we arrived at 4:30pm, our rooms were not ready. We were told to they would be ready in about an hour staff suggested we wait in the lounge, or take the shuttle bus to the rim and come back. After driving 9 hours to get to the lodge, this was disappointing. The staff was apologetic, but this seems to be a common situation. Also, in one of our rooms the soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower were missing. The desk was unresponsive to our request to have housekeeping deliver some, so we went out and bought our own. These are small inconveniences, but the impression is that Yavapai Lodge is currently understaffed."

"Property is good. Pools were clean. Staff was friendly. It was great to have a kitchen. Just not walkable to any restaurants or stores. Surprised there is not lobby bar even. But property was great. "

"Only issue was problems with the jacuzzi jets which I guess have been happening for a year according to another guest. Besides that it was wonderful!"

"I really enjoyed staying at this resort. It was peaceful and spacious. I stayed in a villa. I really liked how large the rooms were and the patio area was nice. I brought my dog so the patio was nice to take my dog outside. The rooms were very clean. Even with being pet friendly the rooms did not have any pet oder. The resort is older but is well maintained. The pool area was clean. I saw in reviews people said the walls were thin and they cough hear people next door. I was worried about that but I did not have any issues with hearing my neighbors. I would definitely recommend this resort and if I’m back in the area in the future I would stay here again."
