Unfortunately, our experience with this VRBO rental was very disappointing, especially considering the quality of other homes we’ve stayed in within the same community. Upon arrival, the home was not cleaned to an acceptable standard. We found hair in one of the bathroom showers, which immediately raised concerns about the overall cleanliness of the property.The kitchen was another major disappointment. The cookware provided was in such poor condition that we ended up purchasing our own pots, and pans just so we could prepare meals during our stay. The home also has several maintenance issues that need attention. There are holes in the living room tile, multiple window shades throughout the house are either broken or completely missing, and one bedroom had no functioning window covering at all. We had to contact the host, who ultimately covered the window with a towel so our daughter could have some privacy. Additionally, there is missing tile on the staircase, creating a potential tripping hazard that should be repaired immediately for guest safety.While we came for the beach, we also expected to relax and spend quality time together in a comfortable home. Unfortunately, that wasn't our experience. The property is in need of significant renovation and maintenance, both inside and out. We were especially disappointed that the home's condition did not match the photos.We hope the owner addresses these issues so future guests can have a much better experience than we did.

The community itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the rental did not live up to what was advertised. The pictures posted on the listing did not accurately represent the condition of the property during our stay. Much of the furniture was worn and dated, and the overall condition of the rental was disappointing. I have tons of pictures from our stay that document the actual condition of the property.One of the biggest issues was the air conditioning. The A/C did not work properly for most of our stay, and the house became so uncomfortable from the heat that I actually had to sleep in the basement just to be able to rest. This is definitely not what you expect when booking a home for a week-long vacation.Communication with the owner was also very disappointing. It took approximately two days to receive a response regarding the issues we were experiencing. When you are dealing with an A/C problem and uncomfortable temperatures inside a vacation rental, waiting two days for a response is unacceptable. Communication simply was not there when we needed it.We booked this property for a full week expecting a comfortable and relaxing vacation, but unfortunately, the experience was unpleasant enough that we decided to leave the rental early, even though we had booked it for the entire week.For the price and based on the pictures advertised, we expected much better. The beautiful community was probably the best part of the stay, but the rental itself needs signific
