Welcome to the Islander on Holiday Isle in Destin Florida

Islander Condo #208 is an East View, Silver Unit that sleeps up to 6 people. Avoid the elevators with easy access to the ground floor and parking lot via the stairs near the condo. Step into our tropical paradise conveniently located for quick and easy access to the beach or your choice of two pools.

The kitchen has been updated with new cabinets, granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances, a Keurig, and is fully equipped with all the tools to meet your cooking needs. Gather around the dining room table that seats 6 or relax in the living area with updated furniture to watch the 32” TV with DVD player and digital cable access. There is a queen sleeper sofa available for guests.

The master bedroom boasts new furniture with a king size bed, and a 32” TV. The guest bedroom has 2 new twin sized beds, and a 32” TV.

Venture out to the private balcony and view the boats entering and leaving the harbor through the east pass or one of the breathtaking sunsets an evening can offer.

Fun Condo on Beach

Stayed here for spring break with 3 teens. Property was as advertised, and reasonable rates (avg 250 night X 4 nights). Was able to extend stay a day with no problems. Short walk to beach, great beach chairs/umbrellas. Excellent location, near almost everything. No salt/pepper, so make sure you bring your own! All in all a very good trip!

We enjoyed that we were so close to the pool & beach. The unit was a older unit but very clean and provided tons of space. The view from the patio was a little obstructed by palm trees but you still could see the ocean very well. On Saturday night they showed a movie by the pool which we really enjoyed. The only issue was one of the two pools was closed the entire time we were there. Overall a great experience and would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is my 3rd stay at this Resort, but first stay at this unit. I usually stay at another unit, but I procrastinated and didn't get the time I originally wanted. Therefore, I looked on line. All in all no complaints. Just a suggestion for kings size pillows instead of standard size pillow on the bed. Bed wasnt' totally uncomfortable but I have a pillow top at home. Just a preference. Master Bathroom could use updating. There was no hair dryer on site, called and they brought up one. One day the coffee pot shot craps, they gave me a new one. The bathroom exhaust fan quit working the last day. I forgot to advise them of that when I left. All in all, the place was clean. I travel along and I didn't even use the hallway bath, living room or spare bedroom. Go there to sleep and eat breakfast or lunch and that was it. I love this location because it is so close to all the amenities in Destin!

Girls’ Trip

Everything was great, the location was perfect! We enjoyed the beach and nearby restaurants. Also liked the nightly activities that were offered at the Islander for family, will come back and bring my granddaughter next time.

Steps to the beach!

Great location, right on the beach. Lots of kids and families. A little far from restaurants and bars so it isn’t very walkable but if you’re planning to mostly just be at the beach this spot is perfect!

Lovely and clean

Absolutely loved this unit. Very convenient to the laundry 🧺 Also the option of the stairs or the elevator right near. Plenty of carts to get luggage in and out and very clean. We will definitely come back to 208.

We did enjoy our stay. The only thing I would point out is that it was not cleaned out completely. We arrived and under the beds had trash. Also 2 face mask that ours where on the table when we got there. Makes me question how thoroughly they clean. Other than this we did enjoy our stay!

Peaceful gateway

The Islander is amazing. Its location is very private but at the same time lots of places are just 5 minutes away. We stayed on the second floor on the east side and loved how we were so close to elevators and laundry room. The room is very equipped with everything you need for your stay as described on the site. Do bring condiments if you’re planning on cooking. Description of unit is on point. I just have to say that carpets and rugs do need cleaning and the living room furniture too. I just covered the couch with a sheet and the chair with a towel, also twin bedroom had a funky smell and I didn’t know until the last day when I walked in and my girls (17 & 12 ) didn’t say anything to me. Property is amazing, everything is well kept. The walk to the beach is short distance and the water is so clear. The 2 swimming pools are super nice. We will definitely return before kids go back to school.

Holiday Isle and the Islander have always been a favorite of ours, especially when the kids were young. The staff is always friendly and accommodating and the grounds and common areas are kept clean. It was the first time we rented Unit 208 and, to be honest, we would not rent this unit again unless attention was given to the bathrooms. Both baths are very worn and mold was detectable in both tubs/showers. Also, the carpet is quite worn and the bed linens were as well. The kitchen has been updated and is very nice. We spent most of our time on the beach which is absolutely gorgeous.

Condo was clean, great location, close walk to the beach (across a parking lot driveway and over a bridge). Love the private access into the condo and onto the beach. Have always felt very safe and secure. The pool area is always clean with great chairs. Love that two beach chairs and an umbrella are included. Kitchen was stocked well with everything we needed. Also appreciate having a few things on hand to get us started, ie paper towels, trash bags, TP. Condo staff have always been very friendly but we haven’t had any issues to address. My only suggestion (being picky) would be a new mattress in the master bedroom, bathroom updates, and a lighter/beach paint color to in the main living areas to lighten it up! Other than that, we always enjoy our stay at the Islander!

Beautiful holiday isle

Really enjoyed my time at the Islander although I’ve been staying at the Islander for over 40 years on and off with my family now with my husband holiday owl is an icon of Destin yes it’s an older area but the condos have held up well and we really enjoyed the heated pool at the Islander and the people at the desk a very kind they exchange your towels every Tuesday and Thursday they have a nice laundry room to do clothes if you don’t have a washer and dryer although that could be updated a bit but you really can’t beat the location of the pool and the beaches. It’s held up well And the pool and hot tub cleaned every morning and the surround img beautiful clean place
