Last Minute Luck

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We made a last-minute trip to Destin and randomly found the Islander. We were pleasantly surprised! The unit was great, the staff were extremely friendly, and the grounds and beach were very well kept and not crowded. It was a great experience!

The property was very well kept. The condo was nice and clean. It does need some upgrades. The sofa and recliner need to be replaced, they are not comfortable to sit on, we had to sit on a cushion when sitting on the sofa so we didn't sink into the sofa making it very hard to get up. The hinges in the bathrooms are rusted. I am not being picky but for the price we paid, I would suggest that it's time for the owner to consider updating those few items.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This listing needs updated photos as the furnishings and appliances have been upgraded from what is seen in the photos. That being said, I've been coming to the Islander for 32 years. This unit has been my favorite one. Beach chairs, umbrellas, and boogie boards are included which we happily used. I loved having breakfast on the balcony every morning because of the ocean view. The unit is next to the stairs so it was very convenient for beach and pool access. We loved our stay in this unit and look forward to returning!

We were able to get a view of the beach from the balcony although if we higher up it would have been better. My family and I will be back next year.
