We arrived on the 6th Fl the hall rugs were stained and filthy. The floors in the unit were sandy. The outdoor pool under construction still the indoor pool was not that clean either. It was noisy due to under going major construction as well On the positive the server in the pelican restaurant was great - the beach service for chair rental was pricey but Joey and Dave were fantastic and the view was nice from the balcony. We came to celebrate our first anniversary on the ocean and chose this resort due to the many amenities and convenient location. The lobby was very clean and the folks at the concierge desk were polite and helpful. The condo itself was clean, well decorated, and the view of the ocean was stunning. Despite the construction, SunDestin managed to be very lovely and inviting. Our condo was very clean, smelled fresh and is newly updated. Sitting on the balcony enjoying this beautiful view will melt all your troubles and stresses away. Staff was kind, professional, & very helpfull. Security syaff was tge highlight of the facilty. Mrs Beth & her husband on the security team were AWSOME, friendly, professional, knowledgable & very helpful. We felt very safe because of their presence. Also, there is no place to put your clothes if you are staying longer than the few days we did.
