We offer a comfortable Queen sleeper sofa, and a cozy recliner to kick up your feet and watch TV after your travels in. Guests can feel free to login to their own medias (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) during your trip as well! Lastly, our favorite feature is the electric fireplace nestled right under the TV, with its various lighting features it will be sure to warm your mood, no matter what the occasion of your stay! Our entire back wall of sliding doors encompasses the condo with an ample amount of natural light. The view of the lake is unobstructed, and one of the best in the community. Guests will find there is easy access to the small patio to sit and sip a cup of coffee in the sunshine at the patio table! Our laundry room is located right off the patio, with a full sized washer & dryer, iron, and ironing board. Our kitchen area is perfect for eating in during your stay at "So Fire, So Good". Everything is a full open concept to the living room with three metal stools at the beautiful quartz breakfast bar for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with full appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, crockpot, blender, and a traditional coffee maker & Keurig! If you plan to cook during your trip, we encourage you to bring along any spices, condiments, & oils you may need as we do not provide any perishable or non-perishable items. We have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, and plastic dinnerware, utensils, & cups for our tiny travelers as well! Directly off the living area you can find a truly restful spot in our modern beach house styled bedroom with a King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. Our second electric fireplace here offers various options for ambient lighting with or without heat, to add that extra luxury touch of zen to your stay! The bedroom also features a Roku TV - perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day. Feel free to even plug in your phone bedside with our USB ports conveniently located in each lamp! The bathroom offers a shower & tub combo with stunning tile throughout, a spacious vanity area, soft towels, and plenty of space to get ready in. The Neighborhood: • Gulf Terrace Condominiums are located in the heart of Destin, just minutes away from a variety of dining, shopping, and local hotspots. • You’ll be less than a mile from June White Decker public beach access, Big Kahuna’s Water Park, and The Track Family Fun Parks, making it easy to enjoy all the area has to offer! • Our complex offers the convenience of two entrances! The main entrance takes you directly onto Destin’s main highway, while the side entrance lets you exit onto a side street with a stoplight, perfect for avoiding traffic when the town gets busy. Getting Around: • During busy times it can be easier to take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi to avoid dealing with traffic and parking. The town is fairly easy to navigate, as most everything to do is directly off the main road through in either direction! • Airport Distances: Destin FL (VPS) - 18 miles Panama City FL (ECP) - 51 miles Pensacola FL (PNS) - 54 miles Other Things to Note: • This is a second-floor unit accessed by stairs only, with no elevator. You may occasionally hear noise from neighboring units or common areas, which is outside of our control. Please note this unit is part of a shared building, not a stand-alone home. • Linens and beach towels are provided. A courtesy supply of essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, trash bag, dish and laundry detergent) is included. For longer stays or larger groups, please bring any additional supplies you may need. • Please note that beach equipment and beach supplies are not provided. • Trailer, RV, box truck, or watercraft parking is not permitted in the complex. HOA towing fees apply for any violations. • As this is a residential complex, a 10PM noise ordinance is in effect. Excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances are not permitted at any time. • All stays with house-trained pets must be disclosed at booking, as a $50 pet fee applies. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs. Pets must be crated when unattended, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after them indoors and outdoors. Pets are not allowed on furniture. • ADA-recognized service animals are exempt from the pet fee, but Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are not. Please note that providing false information about a service animal is against state law, so we appreciate your honesty. • While this condo isn’t directly on the beach and the beach is not visible from the unit, public beach access is just a short ¾-mile drive away. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location. • This is a mixed community with both full-time residents and short-term guests. Building exteriors are being updated gradually, which is outside our control, but we’ve created a cozy, comfortable space inside for your stay. The place was very nice & exactly as promoted The place was perfect for my husband & I. We really enjoyed watching the birds & turtles on the lake from the balcony. We cooked several meals there and had plenty of dishes & cookware. The bed was comfortable and we appreciated having Hulu as a tv option. We were close to a number of beaches we visited and lots of restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the sun! ##### Kathy Z. Could be that we didn’t know any better but with all the resorts, we had to drive to find public beach access. Not a huge deal, but would recommend putting a little book of some sort in the condo with useful local info for guests to reference for this type of situation or others. It was tastefully decorated and had many great updates...and it was super clean. The fireplaces, one in the frontroom and one in the bedroom, were a nice touch, too. The porch was also wonderful for relaxing, sipping your favorite drink and/or simply watching all the turtles bask around the pond in the sun. The beach, grocery store, outlet shops, restaurants, beach shop(s), water park, etc. were all close. (Many places were within walking distance.) Our hosts were awesome! They were easy to get in touch with and were always quick to respond, and that's always a huge plus in my book. ##### Resa M. I wish I could say I enjoyed my stay here… Cons: The rug had black, moldy stains on one side which led to the realization that there was a longterm leak spreading from the kitchen. The owners told me that they "have a new rug on order..." The water had been pooling under the floor for months, so stepping on certain areas of the laminate would cause water to squelch and squeeze up through the cracks. While Matthew was responsive in addressing the leak right away (which took up most of the first day of my vacation), this didn’t help with the existing, dirty water seeping up from under the floor throughout my entire week stay. No bare or sock feet for me! I never received an apology for this water issue - nor acknowledgment for discovering it in the first place - nor a response to the follow-up message I sent upon departure. Additionally, a lamp was broken, we could never get the ice maker to work and the shower didn’t stay hot for long. Pros: The view of the pond was lovely - watched soft-shell turtles and a sweet duck family. The unit was otherwise clean - and the bed very comfortable. The renovations done in the unit would’ve been beautiful if not for the water problem. ##### Courtney C. Stayed 7 nights in Oct 2022 ---
