Cafe & tiki bar open only minimum hours in Jan.-Feb. Dive in! The new beachside pool at Pelican Beach is NOW OPEN! Just steps from the beach and Tiki bar, poolside will be your favorite place to be! The new facility boasts an expansive pool deck, zero-entry pool, large outdoor spa, bench seating inside the pool, and additional seating around the pool deck. This pool is in addition to the indoor/outdoor pool, outdoor pool, hot tub, and kiddie pool. Newly-remodeled gym and steam room! Our cleaning staff is taking every precautionary measure to make your stay a clean and safe one. They will be using the CDC cleaning guidelines to make sure the unit is sanitized for our guests. The unit will be cleaned and sanitized between guests. Check-in is at 4:00 p.m. Please be patient with our cleaning staff if they are running behind schedule. We strive to have very clean units. This beautiful unit is on the 15th floor and has everything needed for a wonderful and comfortable vacation. It has been completely remodeled and should have everything you need for a great vacation. There is a southeasterly, unobstructed, and gorgeous view of the gulf and coastline from the private balcony. The living room has a queen sleeper sofa, a 65” 4K TV with streaming capabilities, smart DVD player, and Bluetooth stereo. Master bedroom has a king-size bed with new pillow-top mattress and box springs, en-suite bathroom (shower/tub combo remodeled in Nov. 2025), and new 50” 4K TV with a smart DVD player. The master bedroom has sliding doors accessing the large balcony with ocean view. The second bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower remodeled in Nov. 2025) has twin beds with a 50" 4K smart TV and smart DVD player. With the smart TVs and DVD players, you can access all of your favorite movies and shows on Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming networks. The fully-furnished, chef-ready kitchen has all small appliances, fully stocked with pots and pans, dishes, utensils, and serving pieces. There are both a regular coffee pot and a Keurig. Newly-redecorated and painted, granite in the kitchen and bathrooms, shiplap ceilings, new furnishings, and new flooring throughout. There is a washer and dryer in the unit. Starter supplies furnished (no replenishments). Cox Cable Ultimate channels and Wi-Fi included. This is "streaming-friendly" condo offering a new level (100 Mbps) of high-speed Wi-Fi Internet access … perfect for the entire family! This unit has keyless entry and you never have to worry about losing your key at the beach or someone being locked out! The unit has books, games, and family-friendly DVDs. It is a nice, bright unit with everything needed for a wonderful vacation on the beach. The balcony is a wonderful place to watch the sunrises/sunsets and the dolphins playing. This resort has a private beach. There is a cafe and Tiki bar (open March 1-October 31 and open seasonally in January and February) and you never have to leave the resort. Merlin's Pizza delivers and several restaurants are nearby for take-out. Walmart and Winn Dixie have grocery pickup. It has a great view of the ocean, beach, and pools. The perfect location. It is near the elevators with easy access to all of the Resort's amenities, including the indoor/outdoor pool, Market Cafe, two outdoor pools, beach, workout facilities, tennis/pickleball courts, Tiki bar, game room, a basketball goal, and two hot tubs. One of the large outdoor pools and indoor/outdoor pool are heated during the winter months. Linens, dishes, cookware, etc. provided. Remember to bring your beach towels!! There is a rental company on the beach for chairs/umbrellas. Beach rental is not included. There are two beach chairs and an umbrella in the unit for our guests' use. Pelican Beach has a Market Café which has a large menu consisting of breakfast items and sandwiches, burgers, salads, pizza, etc. for lunch. It also carries incidentals such as sunscreen, sodas, beach toys, beer, and snacks. On site, there is a Tiki bar (open March 1-Oct. 31), indoor/outdoor pool, two outdoor pools, kiddie pool, two hot tubs, exercise room, sauna, and game room. Additional laundry facilities are near unit and elevators. During the prime summer months, the Tiki bar and café deliver to the beach! The resort is located on the beach side of Highway 98 across from Big Kahuna Waterpark with putt-putt and go-cart track not far. Within two miles, you'll find the harbor where you can enjoy waterfront dining, live music, fishing charters, boat and wave runner rentals, and all new Harborwalk Entertainment Complex including Harry T's, Crab Island Cantina, Margaritaville, shopping, & family activities. There are kayak rentals, parasailing, and beach chairs and umbrellas to rent on the Beach. Baytowne Village is also a nice place to visit with lots of activities for children and families, restaurants, shops, and live music. On-site, Pelican Beach has a Tiki bar, market café, exercise room, game room, indoor/outdoor pool, and two large outdoor pools. With all of the amenities that the resort has, you never need to leave! But, if you do, there are lots of things within minutes that are fun to do. Harborwalk Village is 2.5 miles west with restaurants, shops, children's activities, and fishing charters, jet ski and boat rentals, etc. Destin Commons is 3.7 miles to the east and is full of shops and restaurants. There is the Fish Bowl Restaurant and Bowling Alley here which is very fun and family-friendly. The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is 8 miles to the east with shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful time in Destin! This condo is about a 30-40 minute drive from the airport. We are a family of six with four children ages 7, 11, 13 and 16\. With the pull out sofa, the condo was the perfect amount of space for us and our kids. We used the cafe and Tiki bar often during the day while we spent time at the pool and beach. My wife and I and her parents made an extended stay and picked just the right place. Close to anything and everything you’d want. Although it offers a cafe and tiki hut poolside. It was fantastic. We cooked in several times and had everything we needed to do so. We also cooked steaks on the grills outside. They have a great cookout area with at least 4-5 grills and they are clean! The condo looked exactly like pictures. It was equipped with everything we needed and was very clean, and spacious and the beds were comfortable. Having a washer and dryer in the condo was a plus as well. The hosts were very responsive and provided a lot of helpful information on the area. There is plenty to do within walking distance. The tiki bar and three pools were a nice perk! We would definitely stay here again! One thing to keep in mind that we wish we had a little more clarity on (no fault of the hosts, they explained everything well). -during busy times, you almost have to rent chairs to ensure getting a spot so make sure you figure that in to your budget. You can take your own (which they have in the condo) but if they need the space for the rented chairs, you risk not having any beach space. If you don’t rent for multiple days, you have to stand in line every morning to ensure a spot. However, the staff for the beach rentals was very accommodating! The pool chairs fill up very quickly, so it helps to get down there early as well. ##### Megan K. Great view. We appreciated the kitchen supplies and updated decor. Everything worked great and no complaints. The facility was perfect with a gym, pool, and cafe which we loved. The location was perfect and close to many nice restaurants, the outlet mall, and San Destin. The facility is good for families but also great for adults without children. Beds were comfortable and we loved the ceiling fans in the bedrooms. We loved the condo and would definitely return!! Minor suggestion: we would recommend revising the rental agreement wording so that it is clear the beach chairs/umbrella provided are not the standard resort ones and that you have them available in the condo so that renters who arrive early understand they have to rent the resort ones. The night of arrival we pulled out the sofa bed for my daughter to sleep on and there was a Q-tip and you could tell the sheets had not been cleaned. I do not know why we were charged a cleaning fee. I texted the owner the next day since it was 10:30 when we saw this. She apologized and said she would have the housekeeper return to take care of it. She never did come nor did the owner check to see if it was reconciled the entire 6 days of our stay. For this reason I cannot recommend staying here. ##### Alexis G.
