So it goes with Sterling Sands 401\. One of the few condos in Sterling Sands to have three bedrooms, as of 2022, it also boasts all new furniture, appliances, washer/dryer and accoutrements coordinated by a decorator. Already a stunning gem of a beachfront vacation rental, the designer interior shines with a ‘light and bright’ ambience. It’s cool plank floors, shiplap accents, sea glass tinted wall tiles, clean white kitchen and tranquil beach decor give off a spa-like vibe. In fact, each bedroom has something tranquil to offer. The two Primary suites each have balconies with beach views, sitting areas, luxury bathrooms with oversized tubs and walk-in showers while the third bedroom features a queen size bunk bed and a playful nautical theme. One of the sparkliest facets of Sterling Sands 401 is its beachfront balcony. It spans the southern side of the condo and features a glass wall railing so that nothing obscures the gorgeous beach views. A bistro table and fine outdoor furnishings make the balcony an ideal place to take in brilliant sunsets over the water. Guests of Sterling Sands are also privy to some very attractive amenities. The spacious pool deck, fitness center, and grill cabana are among the perks along with deeded beach access just for Sterling Sands renters. Plus, this Destin vacation condo is within walking distance of Big Kahuna’s Waterpark, The Track recreation center and plenty of beach shops and restaurants. This property comes with 2 parking spaces. We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays. We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25. Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays. In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil. \*\*There is a resort fee of $15.00 plus tax per guest, age 5 and older, to receive access to the property and amenities. This includes wrist bands, gate codes and parking passes. You will need to preregister before your arrival with the weblink we will send you after you have made your reservation. No tents, canopies or personal umbrellas allowed. Personal umbrellas are not allowed on the beach from March 1 – October 31\. I absolutely loved this beach condo! My sister and I took my two small boys to the beach for a few days and it was such a lovely condo, the atmosphere was peaceful and felt highend. The kitchen had everything we needed, the view is spectacular. Having two king bedroom suites felt amazing and the kids loved the bunk beds. The parking is easy and super close, luggage carts were easy to grab and the walk down to the beach is insanely close! My only suggestion to owners would be to brighten the bunk room up, the kids were feeling a bit left out once they saw the other two rooms haha. It was a special condo i felt lucky to have found and would definitely book again. This room is insanely beautiful! Looks just like the pictures. Both king room suites were so spacious with huge closets and big bathrooms! The bunk room has bean bag chairs which the kids loved! Since it’s a corner room, you can see everything around you through the windows. It was right across the street from Alvin’s Island, Merlin’s Pizza which was pretty good, and also a Liquer store. It was located 5 min from Starbucks and the mall etc. the grocery stores were all really close - Publix, Walmart and whole foods. The beach was insanely beautiful. The room came with one umbrella and 2 chairs per day with the option to rent more. We had a blast and would def stay again! Don’t hesitate to book! Honestly the only downside was maybe the beds could have been a little more comfy but I’m spoiled with the one I have at home and also maybe I’m just getting older. Great access to the beach. Balcony view were beautiful. Umbrella and chair services was a nice bonus. Another successful trip to Destin. This is a great condo. There were minimal issues with the refrigerator, but everything else was great and as listed on VRBO. The gym was closed and we weren’t aware and there was zero compensation or care about it. Also renting of the beach chairs should be mentioned because they show pics of them and we would’ve brought our own. ##### Sarah H. We arrived after hours and all the items we needed for our stay were on the counter. The condo was spacious for the 5 of us. The condo was on the end so we had a wrap around spacious deck. There was a small private deck off the spacious 2nd bedroom. We had 2 dedicated beach chairs of which we purchased 2 more since someone was always in the water. We had a dedicated parking space. In the morning we were able to see dolphins moving down the coastline. We were 0.4 miles from the Back Porch, one of our two favorite places to eat in Destin, so we were able to walk there one evening. The view was great, the condo was great and we all had a great time. ##### chris c. Cleanliness was good, but did notice that the inside of drawers were not cleaned. We were disappointed that the master tub did not have hot water and the coffee maker was a pain to fill the water tank and change the filter. We had a minor blimp with accessing the pool since the code we were emailed was incorrect, but had we read the paper packets we were given at check-in, the correct information was stated in there. When we called the manager, they were friendly, quick & helpful. Only suggestions I have is a better coffee maker, hooks in the bathrooms to hang beach and bath towels, hooks in entry way to hang jackets/bags (though I respect wanting to keep clean lines!), and simpler communication. We had so many texts and emails that it was hard to find the info we needed because we couldn't remember which format they came in. Another bummer was the way the beach service is set up. Apparently, guests that come Sat.-Sat. are given a better chance at front row and we were only a Mon-Fri. so we were given 2nd row each day. We talked with the guys in the hut and they were able to accommodate getting us in the front on our last day and we so appreciated it. Having toddlers made that prime seating for that reason not to mention the gorgeous view, but we understand there is a rotation. Location is amazing and there is so much to do. We absolutely loved this condo! We will most definitely be back again! It was even more beautiful than the photos! It was decorated so beautifully! We really appreciated all of the professional touches and all of the serving dishes, great coffee pot, new appliances and great bedding! It’s the little things that really made this feel like home and we are so happy with everything! Even down to the pillows! It was very spacious as we had 5 adults and a 2 year old. The view was stunning! I felt like we were living in a magazine! So grateful for the owners to share their home. You can tell by their condo that they are very particular people because not one detail was missed! Can’t say enough great things and would recommend this to anyone we know!
