Reviewer Comments: the condo was a little smaller than expected as well as the balcony and the couch outside had broken legs on one side, but since we were not there much it didn't matter. the place was clean and the front desk was professional and sweet, overall great stay! I would definitely recommend this place!

Excellent stay! Great location!

It was a great location, loved the chair and umbrella service. The only issue we had was we couldn’t get the pull-out couch to work for us. We would definitely stay here again.

First time to Destin. Loved the location of this property

Great location and things to do for our group. Teenage kids loved having the pool, tennis and shuffle board along with the beach. Staff was extremely friendly and I love having the laundry on site. Will definitely be back.

The property was fine...not great

The property met our needs but wasn't the best place I've stayed in. It had all the amenities we needed but it was dated. The front door was sooo dirty. That just made a bad impression with me. It really needed a coat of white paint on the door. But the beds were comfortable and the bunk with extra pull out was really handy. Overall we had a good stay and the unit was very clean other than the front door.

Last minute trip

Location was great and check in was easy for Unit 517. Enjoyed the complimentary beach chair set up daily. Few issues - lots of large wall mirrors in dining area & living area which made it seem very dated - I assume to make Unit appear larger. Light in first bathroom did not work but after asking for help we found the breaker was tripped and resolved the problem ourself. Unit was decorated nicely but both bathrooms were really small. Main microwave above Stove was not working but they had another smaller one sitting on the counter to use. Cabinet door in kitchen fell off when we opened it - we had a screwdriver and fixed it ourselves. Lamp table was spaced out with cords strung across the wall at a distance to the plug in and looked very tacky. We found clothes in the dresser drawers.

King bed in the master and a bunk bed for the kids in the 2nd room was great. We enjoyed the quick elevator ride and walk to the beach. Our chairs were all set up and ready for us to enjoy a full day on the beach. The location was perfect for daily fishing, with a bait store within a couple of miles. Plenty of groceries and restuarants right around the corner. We absolutley plan on coming back soon!

Great location. Plenty of stairs so you don't have to take elevators if you don't want. Beach is beautiful. Really enjoyed the ocean view porch. Had a wonderful time.

Wish laundry facilities were in the condo instead of on another floor. Beach requires laundry, especially since there was no way to dry items outside - too humid.All complaints outside the condo itself: Hallways had really dirty carpeting. NO customer service from the reception area at all - no help with bags, suggestions of local food were provided; only the "house rules." The laundry facility has hours not easily found.Several fun places within walking distance, but not a grocery store. The weather is too iffy in March for me to consider returning for another spring break.

We checked several places out and read reviews - then decided on Holiday Surf and Racquet Club. Happy to say that it was a good decision! We had a two bedroom - two bath unit with a nice balcony directly on the beach on 5th floor. Was quiet with comfortable beds and plenty of room. The building is older but well maintained. Had 3 tvs and internet was good. Also located centrally so you can get anywhere and there is a Winn Dixie/Target shopping area real close. Asked at front desk about local restaurants and was given a nice list with choices for different kind of foods. We decided to go to Mimmos, McGuires Irish Pub and Boshamps. Great food at all these restaurants!! Of course we had breakfast at the DoNut Hole. Staff was helpful whenever we needed.

The location was great, the view was great and it did comfortably accommodate all guests. For the next guests, I would suggest all outlets work, the main microwave to be in working order, a better dishwasher and to adjust the outlet and outlet cover in the master bedroom so it's able to be used. Like I said before, it was a fine place and worth staying at but for less money than what I paid.

We've stayed here probably 5 times since 2008. This time our rental unit was in dire need of attention and maintenance. The a/c needs repairs, it only worked when it wanted, lowering the temp on thermostat didn't help. Could have been a lot cleaner, furniture was stained. For the price we paid, i was disappointed. Seems to get little worse every time we go. But the location is good. Beach was beautiful as always.

Loved the condo complex layout! And beside the unit itself, the complex and location was terrific!

The only suggestion I have for this unit is to consider upgrading the mattresses, and maybe add a couple more pots to the kitchen.

Our stay at Holiday Surf & Racquet Club, Unit 517!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When we checked in 3 of the dining room chairs were broken. We were disappointed that the large TV was located in the master bedroom and the small TV was in the living room. It would be nice to have these TV's changed around. The light in the 2nd bedroom is very dim. Would be great to have a recliner. Master bedroom mattress needs replacing.
