Located on the 18th floor, watch the dolphins play in the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This unit has a king size bed in the master bedroom. The bedroom has new LVP floors and an updated bathroom. This condo has a keyless entry pad for easy access. Two bunk beds in the hall, a queen-size sleeper sofa and an additional full bathroom allow up to six people to sleep comfortably. Location is always key and Pelican Beach Resort is very conveniently located. The Condo is right across the street from the Big Kahuna's water park, very close to shopping and numerous great restaurants as well as many other resort activities. This newly remodeled Condo is a great value right in the heart of Destin! Below are our “House Rules” which we ask that you respect. Please take a minute to read them; ask us questions about any you don’t understand. NO PETS OF ANY KIND ALLOWED For Your Safety and Enjoyment and the Safety and Enjoyment of Your Fellow Guests, We Ask You to: Non registered visitors will not be permitted access to the property at any time during spring break Refrain from throwing any items over the balcony railings Refrain from leaving your underage children unsupervised in the units or in the common areas of the property. Sleep in the same unit as your children to ensure they are properly supervised during your entire stay. Remember that only registered guests (no more than 6 in a 1 or 2 bedroom unit or 8 in a three bedroom unit) are permitted to stay in the rental units. One parent/guardian for every 3 children! Refrain from allowing children under the age of 15 years to use the fitness equipment; ages 15 – 18 may use facilities if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Use the trash chutes anytime, except between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Bagged trash only! Do not take luggage carts into the units. Return carts to lobby when finished Do not hang towels and clothing on the balcony railings. Never under any circumstances feed birds from your balconies! Remember that excessive noise after 10:00 PM can result in your eviction and loss of deposits. Remember that the legal age for drinking alcoholic beverages in Florida is 21 years. Remember that adults who supply alcohol to minors can be arrested (fined and/or jailed) and evicted from the premises. Remember to display your parking pass on the dashboard at all times – only 2 vehicles per unit. Remember that your rental unit is someone else’s second home! You are responsible for any damage done while you rent the unit. Take care of it as you would your own home! A charge of $25 will be assessed for lost wristbands. No Smoking in the building, balconies or walkways. Smoking in these areas will result in eviction and $250.00 fine. We will have Full Security this year from March 1 - October 1\. They will be at the entrance gate, around the pool, beach and be walking the property. ALL guest have to go to the lobby to received their wristbands. ALL guests including owners will be wearing wristbands from March 1 - October 1\. Owners will be issued Neon Blue Silicone Wristbands to keep. Guests wear different color bands that will pertain to the week they are there. These bands are plastic throw away bands. Same ones we have used for years. With mandatory wristbands, Guest will only be issued up to 6 bands for 1 & 2 bedroom units. The 3 bedroom units at the Terrace will be issued as many as 8 wristbands. This is also a Fire Marshal restriction. REMEMBER - PELICAN BEACH DOES NOT RENT TO VACATIONING STUDENTS OR SINGLES UNDER THE AGE OF 25 UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR LEGAL ADULT GUARDIAN. This is a high density beach. 2022 PELICAN BEACH RESORT RULES 1\. NO TENTS, CANOPIES, or similar structures allowed on the beach. 2\. NO GLASS bottles. 3\. NO DOGS allowed on the beach. 4\. The unit was everything they promised, and the location is perfect. We went to a different restaurant every night , and the farthest we drove was about 7 miles. We came down with other family and everyone was able to be located near each other.The condo was clean and had a great view. Rigght on the beach, we had plenty of pools to choose from. I’ve never stayed at Pelican Beach Resort but it did not disappoint. We were very pleased with our condo, the beach area, and the tiki bar food and drinks. ##### Keturah H. We enjoyed our stay at the pelican. The resort was clean. Security was very diligent about checking arm bands. Which is appreciated to keep the facility limited to people staying in the resort. Tiki bar staff and waitress Whitney was very helpful, friendly and attentive. The poolWas clean and checked daily. Ivar from dolce vita did an amazing job taking care of beach service was awesome and well worth every penny. The view from our room was amazing. Check in process was quick. Loved that our parking area was covered Perfect location that is near everything you need. Felt very safe even walking after dark. Nice pools. Checked on us to make sure we got in alright and found everything we needed. 3 pools and a tiki bar!!! We didn’t visit any of them because this location was just that amazing on its own. Spend the day on the beach with a walk down stairs. This will definitely be a place to keep in mind for future vacations. View was wonderful. Restful and easy access to all things. I have copd, so walking on the beach is limited for me. I would like to suggest that maybe a roll walkway going out to firmer sand would be good. Could be done in the mornings like when the workers put out the chairs and umbrellas and rolled back at night. Just a suggestion. ##### Virginia C. Beautiful views of the beach from the 18th floor balcony. Check in was simple and the front desk folks were friendly. Great location as you are close to everything and just over the bridge from Fort Walton beach as well. The property was clean when we arrived. Our only issue was the mattress in the master bedroom was very hard and not at all comfortable. The building is very busy with lots of noise so if you want to sleep in a bit, this is not the place. Nothing is perfect but overall very good stay. ##### Jeff G. Very clean, with a great kitchen, and comfortable bed. We brought binoculars and loved watching all the stingrays early in the a.m.. The only negative of our trip was getting a text from security accusing my husband and I of smoking on the deck outside. Neither of us smoke, so I didn’t bother responding, but we didn’t appreciate being asked to stop something that we weren’t doing. The leather couch was not the most relaxing. I bought some really nice pillows and left behind a comfortable touch. ##### Lori S. We traveled from WV to Destin for the first time and couldn’t be happier with the resort as a whole and the host of this unit specifically. We paid the complete amount all at once due to our travel plans being sort of spur of the moment. Unit/view = PERFECT! The host(s) were great providing all of the necessary information shortly after booking. Everything was very detailed down to the card shack being manned and how to enter etc. Some notes about little things we learned during our stay… The front zero entry pool and large hot tub are great however, in the off season the hot tub there and pool are closed at 5pm for some reason and security will walk around and make sure everyone is out exactly at 5\. That pool is heated btw. The side pool was not heated and traveling in November did not provide the weather to swim in that cold water so it was not useful to us. There is a second very small like 4-5 person hot tub under the wooden thing by the tiki bar but it was usually packed once the big one was closed and only open until 10\. There is also an indoor/outdoor smaller pool that is heated more towards the back by the grilling area and it was actually pretty warm even in the 50-60 degree nighttime weather. The kids enjoyed it. The tiki bar is not open after October and neither is the indoor cafe at the hotel which sorta sucked but it wasn’t a huge deal. Also don’t bring bottles by the pool at the beach as security will make you get rid of them which is understood. ##### Katlin C.
