Enjoyed our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really loved being on the beach and having a balcony where we could sit and look at the sunrise and the sunset. The location is very convenient, with all the shopping we like so close by. Restaurant choices are also good.

Awesome building location and staff

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The office staff and beach staff are outstanding! Friendly, professional and happy to help. The building is in a great location, right on the beach yet removed from the hustle and bustle of the high rises. This unit needs some TLC though, bathroom fixtures are pretty old and tiling needs some work. It was clean though and that is what mattered to us. Again, the staff is superb and were so friendly all week.

Coral Reef is great property - Condo okay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Coral Reef property is great! General Manager, maintenance, and a couple of the office staff are exceptional. Condo is okay. Living room furniture is old and uncomfortable, rug is filthy and should be removed. The vacuum would not work adequately and the broom needs replaced.

No Air Conditioning

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Coral Reef Club for the past 15 or more years and have never been disappointed in any of the rooms until our recent stay in unit 41 dates 8/10=8/14. Just wanted to bring to your attention a few things. The balcony and balcony furniture were filthy. The floor and furniture were all stained with black crud. It was nasty! Both of the bathroom showers/tub need to be redone. They are moldy, out of date and gross. The shower curtain in the upstairs shower had orange/pink mold or mildew all over the bottom. In general the condo and furnishing were not clean like they normally are. The TV's upstairs didn't work and it was fixed by Cox Cable on 8/12 after we reported it to the front desk on 8/11. But the worst of all was on our first night when I went to turn on the dishwasher a rat ran out from under it and under the refrigerator. My husband moved the fridge to try and catch it, but we believe it went in a hole that was in the wall for the water to the ice maker. There were mice droppings all behind the fridge, so he had been there a while. We reported it to the front desk and they came and put sticky traps down and patch the hole. Let me say we enjoy the beach front view and the staff are very friendly, this was just not up to the standards we are used to with Coral Reef Club. Sorry for my complaints, but thought these were items you should be made aware of.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve been staying at the Coral Reef Club since 1992 and have always enjoyed the units. This time, the units furniture and rug were dirty. The upstairs shower would not drain and smelled very bad. If we ran the upstairs sink, the shower would back up. My husband had to aggressively plunge the shower for 15 minutes to get it to drain. Every night, a rodent was eating our bread and bananas. The floors had soft spots in them which made us trip a few times. The balcony was dirty as well.

Great Week! Unit could use some updates!

Location was great! We loved the beach! It was so nice having chairs and umbrella set up for you each day. The unit could use some updates. The living room furniture and rug need to be replaced. The mattresses we lumpy and somewhat uncomfortable.

Fun in the sun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was perfect. The condo could use some help. I would recommend a new bed in master, placing low profile bar stools at the bar, organizing the kitchen, and replacing the fridge. The furniture can also use updating or a good cleaning. Less is more in smaller places- the furniture seems bulky, lamps are too large and the multiple mirrors and large paintings are too much. Also a good dusting is in order. I addressed a rodent problem with your manager and she was helpful. Luckily we had our coolers on hand to secure our food. I advised her also of some other issues and she seemed open and ready to address them for your next renters. We spent all day at the beach which is SUPER convenient to the location which is why I chose it. I also chose it based on your pictures which once there was eh. None the less, we hope to return but would choose another unit.

Unit does not have a dining table and chairs and bar only has 2 chairs.

Great Location beautiful beaches!

Everything was perfect. Unit Is a little dated, but. Some updates. Unit a little snug for 10 women, luggage and accessories. Most of electrical outlet didn’t work , no kitchen table and balcony a little small. Place is perfect for a group of 6. We did have fun and would come again.

We Love Coral Reef!

We have been staying at Coral reef for about 7 years now. This was the first time using Destin reality and it was as smooth a transaction as it has been when dealing with the owner owned condo we previously stayed in. The condo was clean all the way down to the where the baseboards and floor meets( as most know these are areas that normally are dirty for lack of cleaning and detailing) the condo was perfect size and equipt with everything you need to get started. The upstairs gave our boys the space and privacy they needed as well. The private beach doesn’t get any better any where else. Thank you Destin Realty for another beautiful family vacation!
