This pet friendly space was near her house in a great neighborhood. A dog park near by. Short drive to coffee, restaurants, movie theaters. Lots of room, a well-stocked kitchen, parking. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable (master bedroom bedding had odor). Some concerns about the property & online listing: since VRBO does not disclose accurate location, it was not known home is in a questionable neighborhood. Some of our family witnessed drug deals going on across the street and people sitting in vehicles along the street getting high. This made us very uncomfortable and uneasy walking to the park down the street. The home is listed as pet friendly, which was great. However, the yard was not cleaned from previous pets, which we did ourselves. Also, the owners asked for an additional pet fee after our stay that they said was required. However, it was not asked or requested at time of booking. They did not set this up to be included in the VRBO booking platform. VRBO confirmed this and said fee cannot be collected. This was very unprofessional and not what I have expected from a residence that clearly allows/includes a pet in the rental fee.
