Evergreen’s downtown area has grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, and other conveniences. Getting Around: Most residents and visitors in Evergreen rely on using personal vehicles due to the area's rural and mountainous nature. In fact, an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive is required to access our cabin. This is non-negotiable. Although the roads are well-maintained, it can get steep in some areas. We had an amazing stay at Pierce’s property this Fourth of July! The house was clean and had beautiful views. It accommodated two families (8 people total) with enough space to have kids in one area and adults in another. We were able to enjoy downtown Evergreen & the lake which was a 15 minute drive. Red Rocks wasn’t too far of a drive as well as Denver.We cooked breakfast everyday and ate out for lunch and dinner. The kitchen is fully stocked with plates, mugs, cups, pots and pans. The bedrooms are all wonderful sizes with king beds! And we noticed that it’s wheelchair accessible with a ramp to the front door. Pierce was a great host and quick to communicate with us for any help or questions we had.
