I had a reservation on the hotel waves in New Delhi but, the given address on the website and the phone number was scammed. I never stayed in the hotel neither I get my money refund. I have a worst experience ever with Orbitz even though I am a regular Orbitz user customer. I was totally scammed and the Orbitz representative never help me to get my money refund. I wouldn’t recommend any of my friends and family to book hotel nor flight from the Orbitz.

We booked 2x family rooms. Turns out this hotel doesn’t have family rooms, instead we got mattresses on the floor for our kids to sleep on. The rooms were dirty, with the floors especially black. One sheet had a blood stain on it, which was removed from the bed after requesting. The rooms were not ready, despite contacting the hotel several times to advise of our late arrival. This included waiting for forty minutes for the “family beds” so our kids could go to sleep (it was now close to 2200) and the hotel not having turned on the hot water in our rooms (which took nearly 30mins to warm up). Staff thumped around up and down the corridors all night and generally it was not a good experience.

Found many cockroaches
Booked a double room for $40 Canadian Dollars. Found many cockroaches and small flies in the room. Bed was uncomfortable. Staff were friendly. Location is good if you need to be close to the airport. Price was too expensive for what you get.

Excellent stay
Excellent food, well trained,professional and friendly staff who will take care of all ur needs. Amazing food which you can't get anywhere in very economical budget. Special thanks to Kanhaiya (Hotel Manager) who really arranged everything for our party hosted there in order without having a single issue. KUDOS to Hotel Waves and their Staff.

Extremely noise but easy to reach from airport
Good location very close to the airport, so, you can take the Airport Express for one station and walk 10 minutes or 200 rupees rickshaw. However it faces a main highway so, if you stay in one of the front rooms, forget about sleeping even with earplugs. Wifi is poor and buffet just ok, dont expect wonders but it's ok for staying close to Delhi airport

Disappointing
Booked this hotel as it seemed to be closer to the airport & between 3.5k to 4K tariff, but to our shock it was not worth that money either. Initially we were given a room which did not have a latch on the door. When we called up the front desk, we were given another room, which was full of dust. The front desk personnel readily offered to clean up the room but since we were very tired, we refused. Complimentary breakfast was tasty and staffs are very courteous.

last minutes change in arrangement
I would like to warn everyone that if you book through expedia.com.au to this hotel, "Hotel Waves" you must be very careful. I booked and even after confining my booking contacting the hotel, at the last minutes when I arrived the hotel they transfered us to another hotel. They said that the hotel is full and therefore they made an alternative arrangement. This is really not good, because I personally talked to one of the hotel reception desk man, his name was most likely Dharmendra (spelling not sure), and confirmend everything. Therefore, if you plan sometime to this hotel be careful.

Pls do not go as per the pictures.. It is completely different all together.. I had to move to another hotel straightaway coz I didn't like the rooms or the hotel at all..though staff wa really nice n helpful.

I booked a single night at Hotel Waves with my wife and 6yr old daughter as we had an early flight home to Denmark. This was the worst hotel experience I had in my two weeks travelling in India. I would STRONGLY recommend not to stay with this hotel. First, upon my arrival at Hotel Waves, I explained I had pre-paid with Hotels.com. The guy at the front desk said they do not accept pre-payment and tried to convince me that I should pay for the room (again). Upon my showing my Hotels.com receipt and asking to speak with a manager, they finally accepted my pre-paid booking. Next, the room they first placed us in was occupied by someone else. We noticed this after putting our bags in the room and then finding clothing in the washroom. Finally, when I booked my room, I chose an 'executive' room which had various upgrade features from a standard double bed room such as a bath tub, TV, and king size bed. The room I was given had none of this so I returned to the front desk to point this out and ask to be moved. They tried to argue that I was infact given an executive room. I pulled out my booking confirmation again and had to argue my point, showing the room description on the Hotels.com booking for them to finally move me to an executive room. Last, but not least, upon checkout, I again had to argue with a new guy at the fron desk that my room was prepaid. And they also incorrectly had three bottles of mineral water charged to my room in error.

Convenience & solid service
This is a good, basic hotel...which in India is not to be taken for granted. Clean, western bathroom. Responsive staff. Restaurant active many hours of the day. Reasonably priced. Be sure to use the pre-pay station at the airport to buy the taxi from airport to Waves Hotel. Waves will give you their car to take you back without cost.

Good moderately prices option near airport.
It is a moderately priced hotel near Indira Gandhi airport. However, the room and the amenities are what you would expect in a two star hotel in India. The room and the hotel was generaly clean and had running hot water and air conditioning. Room had wireless internet access for free which was great. The food in room service was good. The staff was freindly, helpful and englisg speaking.

Conveniently located, but noisy and dirty
Hotel Waves looked OK when I first got there. Airprt pick up was fine and I got to the hotel. The room was not as I clean as I had hoped. The linens looked dirty and old. But the worst part was the noise. It was imposible to sleep there; there was noise all night long, loud voices, door salmming. If you want to sleep anywhere near the airport, do not go to hotel waves.

Dirty, but next to airport
The hotel ist a little dirty, the furniture is very old. We had to ask, to clean the room. Internet was not working. Staff was ok. It's very good located for a one-night stay, if you have to get to the airport (international or domestic).

Kaunis ja tilava huone
Valitsimme hotellin, koska se oli lentokentän lähellä ja yövyimme ainoastaan yhden yön ennen lentoa Suomeen. Huone oli erittäin tilava ja kauniisti sisustettu. Puulattia tuntui mukavalta. Yö meni hyvin sillä huone oli hiljainen. Voisin mennä toistekin.

Hotell med enkel standard för övernattning i samband med flygresa eller utflykt. Liten känsla av ostädat skick, men kan bero på nötta sänglinnen och gammal inredning. Vi bokade familjerum, men det finns endast dubbelrum att tillgå. Stressad känsla i receptionen. Taxiservice på hotellet- 10 min till flygplats (300 rupies).

Vi hade bokat ett familjerum med två rum och två dubbelsängar, vilket inte fanns. Beskrivningen av hotellet och dess rum överensstämmer inte med vad de uppgett. Mycket enkel standard, inte helt renstädat, enkel frukost. Positivt att det är nära flygplatsen (10 min), så för en snabbövernattning utan högre krav, fungerar det.
