"My adult daughter and I were in Lower Burrell for a celebration of life for a family member. Dawn met us at the house to give us the key and show us the space/discuss house rules (no shoes, no guests, no food in certain areas). Fortunately, all of that worked for us, so we didn’t have a problem, although it felt a bit strict to us. The two bedrooms we stayed in were spacious and nicely done. The primary bedroom had its own powder room, which was a plus. The screened-in back porch was lovely, and when we were at the house, we spent our time in that space. Dawn was easy and responsive to communicate with. We definitely appreciated the location right in Lower Burrell. Thanks for your hospitality, Dawn!"

"I just had an amazing few days staging at Elegance in the Heights. At first I was struggling to gain entry but that was likely more related to the sub zero temps and my hands not working properly. Brian was quickly on the spot with his friendly and helpful demeanor. I was immediately warmed by the immaculately clean and beautifully decorated home away from home that was mine for the next few days. The fireplace quickly became my most favorite thing. The snow outside didn't seem so bad with that beautiful, warm fireplace going. The bed was super comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom was just as perfect as the rest of the place. Everything that was needed for a comfortable stay already in place and ready for use. I felt spoiled by the goodies that I enjoyed in the Harvest Moon gift basket. My family and friends also on the receiving end with the amazing coffee treats I took home to them that I purchased from the local shop. I can not recommend Elegance in the Heights highly enough. I thank you Miss Kate for your excellent and responsive communication. I can't wait to return to my new get away place when I visit PA to see family and friends every few months. Thank you for everything!"

"We rented this property to be within walking distance of our family. The property was as described in the listing, however it is over top a business which belongs to the property owners. During our visit, we encountered a couple small hiccups. 1) a person (appeared to be an employee of the business) was smoking marijuana outside the house and the odor filled the unit. The property owners addressed it and it didn’t happen again. 2) on day two of a two week stay, we heard a critter(s) in the ceiling above the kitchen. The property owner came over, found the entry point, and thanked us for reporting it as the previous renters did not. However, they were unable to rid the peat(s) until the day before our checkout. Communication with the host was great, just hard to get a solid night rest with a suspected raccoon in the rafters. "

"The title of the listing, "Spacious cozy retreat, off the beaten path close to all Pittsburgh attractions" is a perfect description for this home. The location is super quiet in a good way. No highway noise, no loud neighbors, almost too quiet ;) Plenty of off street parking is on site which was a big plus for me. We didn't interact with any of the neighbors though a number of them waved as they drove or walked by. Definitely a welcoming environment. While it is 'off the beaten path' it is also fairly close to the local highway (state route?) with plenty of stores and restaurants an exit down. There's also a place called The Eatery very close by on Rich Hill Rd which has a number of ready made food items and a made to order with various breakfast items and lunch/light dinner sandwiches, etc. On top of all of that, the home had a variety of snack crackers and such, a well stocked cabinet of spices & seasonings, some juice boxes in the fridge and a keurig coffee maker.
