"Fourth time staying here, really like the place and amazing value for money. Lovelly building and grounds, rooms well kept and clean, good bar food and decent breakfast. Can’t beat it for the price."

"Very friendly service but the room was cold and when we asked for heating it was only turned on for an hour so was cold again in the morning. Door to the bathroom didn’t shut properly and the handle was half unscrewed."

Very welcoming. Staff in all areas of the hotel were professional, friendly and helpful. They all appeared to be working together as a team. Very Covid aware, hand sanitizer all around, one way systems and staff ensured masks worn appropriately by guests. Room very clean. Breakfast cooked to order and delicious. Bar area comfortable and great service. Well done Novotel. Will definitely return to this top hotel right in the heart of the lovely Sheffield.

Would have been 5 stars all along but was told check out was 9.00am. Not even caravans boot you out at 9.00am.
Would stay again if in the area as couldn’t fault the room, bathroom and cleanliness

This was our second stay at Waterton Park and we were as pleased this time as we were after our first stay. This time our room was in the main hall - we had a spacious room which was pleasantly warm, beautifully furnished including a four poster bed. The bathroom was spacious with a walk in shower and full bath and was spotlessly clean. Staff our friendly and professional. Breakfast was included and was tasty and plentiful. Will definitely stay again.

The newer part - where my room was - was functional, if not beautiful, but lovely and clean and comfortable, with gorgeous linen and towels. The older part was really lovely and very worth preserving and maintaining.
The absolute best part of my stay was the staff. All impeccable, friendly and professional. Thank you Warlei for my clean, fresh room; Charley and Ellise on the front desk, Paul and Chloey in hospitality as well as all the rest of the team who worked so hard. You’re all marvellous!...

The hotel staff were so hospitable without being intrusive. The hotel was beautifully decorated, bed was quite comfortable and both restaurants were excellent. It is high on my list of places to return to again and again.

The property is very well located on a hill above Bakewell. Parking for a medium sized car on site is a bonus. Bakewell is a busy town, full of tourists. Ate at Charleston’s, do not recommend.
Everything was great, we enjoyed our 3 nights at Bakewell
