"Lovely old estate transformed into hotel. The staff was great - helpful - attentive. The hotel restaurant was also a reason to just stay on site and not waste time and effort to look for another meal solution. Highly recommend."

"The common area was clean as was the linen. Staff was non existent did not realise was a self service accomodation. Parking was there but I did not need it. The room carpet could do with shampoo and the cupboard with dusting . The bathroom fixture though looked new could do with upgrade.. ."

Breakfast - just brought plate without asking what I actually want to have for full English?? This place is not good - cannot recommend. One bright spot was easy parking. "

"Only slept at the hotel so can't comment on anything else. Reception staff were pleasant and efficient, check in was quick. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable. My room faced onto the road and was a little noisy from traffic late in the evening (it may just have been one man driving round and round noisily). When I opened the bathroom door there was a very strong smell of disinfectant/bleach which took some time to dissipate."
