Highly recommended. We had a junior suite for 3 adults. Hotel recently renovated and beautifully done. The staircase itself looked like a palace staircase. Small issue with the shower, which can be expected when renovations are done - the staff was very accommodating with extra towels being provided until a fix was done when we were out, and extra room tidy. Nice walk to centre of Vienna and opera, as well as close to restaurants for the evening. We couldn't have hoped for a better stay.

I absolutely loved this hotel. It is in a great location for getting to all of the sites and has plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. However the food in the Hotel restaurant was good (we did not have breakfast) but the atmosphere in there and the bar of an evening were fantastic. Great modern Hotel in heart of city centre. 2 minute walk to Budapest eye and 25 m away from one of the Christmas Markets. Main shopping area (Fashion Street) also just 3 minutes walk. Great themed hotel rooms electronically controlled and great central atrium area for breakfast and wine & cheese at 4pm. Stayed in balcony suite. Gorgeous! Excellent staff (housekeeping could improve with replenishing basics). Pool and sauna a fabulous element of the stay. Convenient location. Lovely interiors. Breakfast good. Comfy bed and pillow choice. Only wish they offered food beyond breakfast and coffee machine throught the day in the lobby/table areas. Overall had a great stay. Highly recommend.

Centrally located, walking distance from many of the main tourist sights. So many good food options nearby too. Definitely recommend for a lovely stay.

Great hotel in great location with great staff. Used as a base for Christmas Markets and it was perfect. Loved every minute of our 3 night stay - but it is quite expensive !

We had a 2 night pre Xmas stay and what a hotel we chose. Perfect central location for everything. Shopping, markets and our river cruse. Everything was within a 10 min walk. Hotel fantastic. Breakfasts superb and wonderful staff and service. Faultless.

The check in online process was really easy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. This hotel is perfectly positioned to walk and explore Budapest, with endless lovely pubs and restaurants nearby.

Shops nearby. Comunal coffee area, lounge, all very pleasant. Tram stop just outside to take you to central transport hubs.

Hotel sits in a very good location for everything you'll want to see and do in Budapest. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Food in restaurant very good. The hotel is very well designed, with some lovely little subtle aspects of detail. Guy working behind the bar with a cool waxed moustache really knew how to mix a mean cocktail. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends in the future if they go to this fabulous city.

We had a lovely stay at Das Tigra, conveniently located to city centre . The breakfast was excellent .The only unfortunate thing was the Chambermaid staff did not pay attention to detail, eg requested non feather bedding but feather pillows were on the bed, Tea and hair products were not replaced daily.The cleaning of the bathroom was not up to standard. However the front of house staff were very attentive and remedied the issues . I would return if these issues are addressed.

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 day/3 night stay at the Oktogon Haggenmacher to celebrate our wedding anniversary. First of all the hotel is visually stunning, the rooms are clean and well appointed too. We opted for a top floor double superior room with breakfast included. We stayed here for 4 nights and had a super time. The hotel is very recently refurbished to an excellent standard, our room upgraded by the way was spacious, beds were very comfortable, shower room/toilet spotless. The service everywhere was excellent, from Andrew’s welcome, Flora’s support to the bell boys, especially the tall one, almost a friendly giant!
