Beautiful building right in the centre of town with quite a bit of parking . Big comfortable room. Everything was high quality. Only problem was the heat in the room was 28/29 when i came back at midnight and I couldn't operate the thermostat to make a difference.....

Just got back from a 2 night stay. Absolutely charming place to stay staff were so friendly and helpful. So close to the Center just a brief stroll down the lane would definitely come back to stay again. The dog loved it too

Just back from a few days staying at the De Vere, Sandford on Thames. Excellent hotel, comfy deluxe double, delicious breakfast with great choice of food. Helpful staff on reception suggested taking the bus, from just outside the hotel, in to Oxford. 15 mins and we were in the heart of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I stay here regularly for work, alway very good. Staff are incredibly nice and work hard to make the stay comfortable. Rooms are always clean characterful and comfortable. food is great. Would highly recommend.

Very nice hotel in a great location.

We recently returned and stayed in a comfy double room last weekend. Very well maintained hotel, room and facilities. The room was spotless. Great choice of indoor and outdoor seating and restaurant and bar services. We were satisfied with the gym. We didn’t use the sauna and steam rooms this time. Not the quietest of venues during event nights.

The Malmaison oxford is so far one of our best stays we have had in the uk! The hotel is a stunning renovation from a prison to a hotel that my now fiance just loved. The interior is stunning and classy with such helpful staff that took our car and parked it when we arrived, making us feel like Royalty. The Junior suite was breath taking with so much space, large bed, large tv, comfy and stylish seating and a large double shower to top it off. although we didn't eat in the hotel we did visit...

Amazing service, the staff couldn’t be more helpful

Our room in the square block (we’d seen the unnecessary negative reviews before we’d arrived) behind the pretty white main house, came as a very pleasant surprise. The room was newly furnished, to a high standard and spotlessly clean. Positive feedback….great for one night, but a little more storage or even a couple more wall hooks to pop coats and hang towels etc are needed. Amazing little hotel in a back street, very clean and comfortable, we arrived early to drop our bags of as we had a tour later but our room was already available so they let us use the room straight away. Hardly any noise from other guests although there was a busy pub opposite the noise was minimal. Staff very polite, 20 minute walk to Oxford City Centre. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Our stay at the Mercure was overall very positive. We travelled from north devon to visit a family member at the Churchill hospital. We arrived at 1pm on Sunday and didnt expect to check in, but asked in the bar if we could have a quick sandwich before driving to the hospital. we were told that we could only have a roast dinner or chips.
