Kathryn, thank you for taking the time to review your trip and our home. The first time I heard from you was when you were checking out and unfortunately by that time, there was nothing I could do about those very easy fixes. We leave multiple phone numbers on VrBO and in the welcome book at the home. We encourage guests to contact us with any issues or disappointments so that we can remedy them as soon as possible. We would have taken care of the list you provided at the time you checked out and did remedy them for the guest checking in after you. Thank you again for letting us know, I only wish you had done it at the beginning of your trip when you noticed it and not as you were leaving the property. Thanks again for the feedback so we can keep improving the experience for guests as we share our family's vacation home.

We provide multiple phone numbers so you can reach us, as well as through the vrbo app. We sadly did not hear from you once regarding your disappointments during or after your stay. I wish you would have contacted us as we would have addressed all of your concerns and certainly would have changed out lightbulbs immediately. We immediately checked the dock as your review claims there are missing boards and there was not a single board missing so that was not true. Problems can’t be remedied if they aren’t known, so again thank you for bringing these things to our attention, only wish you would’ve done it sooner to improve your own experience.

Thanks for the great review! We understand your concern about the boat. Unfortunately, for insurance and liability purposes, we cannot allow guests to use the lift. Plus, each lift is different for different boats so it wouldn't be feasible. We haven't had any issues when guests use extra bumpers or make sure their boat is good and secured. Ester, thank you for your review. We are sorry some of the high end kitchen amenities you are used to were not available. Please remember this is a Rental Property. There is a lot of wear and tear on especially the kitchen items and it would be virtually impossible to replace everything as often as we have to if we had extremely high end accessories. There are no rats at the house, but upon inspection of our pest control (and our personal experience over the 5 years of owning this house) you may have seen a field mouse from the field next door. Please remember that Crystal River is a quite area surrounded by nature and not a big city. We do have bugs and animals living in the area.

We thank you for your many suggestions during your stay. We will certainly improve the things we can improve. We have already ordered a new grill at your recommendation. If you read our information packet, we tell you that we do not provide beach towels as they constantly go missing or quickly become unusable. We also do not provide firewood. We provide all the basic kitchen supplies you need to make basic meals but unfortunately do as this is a rental, do no provide all the luxury kitchen items you're accustomed to at home. Please remember that this is a 5k square foot home for multiple families and not a big city hotel with dozens of staff members.

Thank you for the info. We provide all the basic kitchen supplies to cook basic meals. As a rental property, we aren't going to have the gourmet cooking supplies that you would have in your home. All the kitchen utensils are new and everything you need for your vacation.

Thanks for the great review Mickey. We were finishing up the last of our renovations in a tight window inbetween guests. Of course, we have a few issues getting some parts, but renovations have been completely finished. We now have a brand new kitchen as well as all 3 bathrooms completely done. Jennimarie, We are so sorry your stay wasn't perfect and we appreciate your attention to detail and the willingness to point out all these issues during your vacation. Please remember that this is a rental house that sleeps 18 people. If you are actively looking for issues like you were, then you will undoubtedly find things. Lamps get broken so we try to minimize their use, the white substance is a stain on the tile that can't be removed. We are sorry that you had trouble with the light switches. We have never had anyone have issues with this before. As discussed with you on your arrival, a guest the day before had broken a bunkbed and it did take us 24 hours to fix. All new bunkbeds have been ordered and are just delayed due to COVID just like the kitchen cabinets and the rest of the new outdoor furniture. Some of these items are on a 4 month backorder. There are 6 chairs, a couch and loveseat in the living room and enough for 14 at the dining room table which has never been an issue for guests before. There was no issue with the dryer but instead were things that you would have to look for to have issues with. We hope that you still enjoyed yourself in spite of focusing on these small issues in a rental house that sleeps 18 people.

Steve, thank you for the feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Please remember our kitchen is designed for cooking basic meals and doesn't have all the amenities that your home would have. Our adirondeck chairs are the Amish recycled polyteak material. We haven't had any complaints and they are the only thing that will hold up to all the water and sun. We have ordered additional chairs but they are on back order due to covid. The material kind were having to be replaced every 3 months from the wear and tear.

Hi Dale, thanks for the feedback. We are aware of the issues with the cabinets. They have been ordered, but due to COVID and supply issues, they won't be in for 10 weeks. Everything is operable and working fine and we have had very few complaints regarding this. Thanks for staying with us!

Hi Judy, thank you for the feedback. We are having some difficulties ordering new furniture due to COVID. They have been ordered and are just waiting. As far as some of the drawers go, please remember that this is a very popular rental property. It gets a lot of wear and tear and their are some things that aren't going to be as nice as your regular home. We are sorry about the liquor bottle hidden in the bunk bed. Our home is over 6,000 square feet. Sometimes things get hidden and overlooked when we have quick turnovers and only a few hours to clean the entire home before new guests come in.
