"Excellent stay for our 38th Wedding Anniversary. Room was spacious and so was the bathroom with a walk in shower and a Bath. The staff were so friendly and obliging. The Breakfast was delicious and so was a meal in the evening we both had. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice sized TV. The car park was secure and had a security Barrier which impressed my hubby. 10/10 for all staff who all work extremely hard to cater for all their guests."

"The slate is a lovely hotel ,cosy and comfortable .the reception is welcoming and clean and there's a lovely log burner in the bar that gives the plase an atmospheric smell. Evening meal was really good and good value for the home cooked food we enjoyed . Breakfast was really good and just started the day perfectly . We recommend to anyone and we'd definitely stay again when visiting Wales ."

"Lovely place but very disappointed with the bed. We did request 2 singles as we’re not a couple. It’s was a king sized bed so we thought it will be fine However the mattress well well worn no support. Both off us could not get Comfortable. And the pillows were flat Apart from that great location and lively food and staff"

"The cottage is in a great location for walking and cycling . You can walk or cycle straight onto the old railway line which is the stary of many walks/cycle routes. The cottage is well equiped and we felt very cmfortable there. The weather was good so we were able to sit outside and enjoy the views."
