Mountain Edge features a convenient location in both summer and winter, located on the shuttle route and a short walk to the West Wall access lift in the winter. You’ll want to spend all day on the outdoor common patio that faces down the valley with breathtaking views of Whetstone, Axtel, and other surrounding Elk Mountains. Grill out with the communal grill or soak in the hot tub. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condominium located on the building entry floor of the Lodge. Entering the condo you’ll find the kitchen, living room, and dining room with an open floor plan. The living room is quite cozy with seating for 5 on updated couches and chairs. Watch your favorite TV or movie on the 50” flat-screen TV or lounge in front of the electric fireplace. Bluetooth stereo is available for easy listening from your devices in the living room. Between the living and the kitchen, you’ll find seating for 6 at the dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to cook a meal for friends or family. Bedrooms are accessible on the same floor as this is a one-level condominium. The master bedroom features a new queen mattress for ample comfort and a private full bathroom. The second guest bedroom features two twin beds with a full bath also accessible off of common living space. Both bedrooms also have Bluetooth stereos for connecting music or sleep ambiance. Outdoor complex parking for 2 is allotted. The FREE Mountain Express Shuttle runs year-round for transportation to and from the Town of Crested Butte and surrounding areas. The Mountain Edge Condominiums is located on the summer town route schedule which is every 20 minutes; shoulder seasons every 40 minutes. In the winter, Mountain Edge Condominiums is on a special condo loop shuttle that picks up every 30 minutes and brings you to the base area. The shuttle is not needed for ski access when the West Wall lift is in operation. Crested Butte Lodging & Property Management provides the basic comforts of home. It was clean and provided everything you might need to stay there. I know that mattresses are a personal opinion, but this one was very hard and we got up with backaches every morning. If you like a hard mattress, you won't have a problem with it. It was nice weather while we were there so we had the sliding door open. Just be aware that it is right next to the main road into the ski area, so there is a lot of traffic noise. It didn't bother us when the door was closed (winter ski time will be fine). Kind of glad we did and this was the perfect location on the mountain yet still just a few minute drive from downtown. Every time we drove around we kept telling each other how much this was just like a Hallmark movie kind of town. It’s absolutely stunning and this was a perfect place to stay. Condo is clean the beds were comfortable everything worked as expected. There’s nothing over the top about this condo but as far as what we needed, a safe comfortable place to stay it was perfect. I’m sure you could find more luxurious accommodations but we really weren’t in the room very much at all so it really didn’t matter to us. We used the hot tub most nights and it probably has the best view from the hot tub of any condo complex on the mountain as far as overlooking downtown Crested. Butte. It was awesome!! You really can’t beat this location as far as being right between all the skiing and downtown Crested Butte. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!! If you’re looking for just a good, clean, safe place to stay this condo is perfect! ##### Ryan H. The couch is uncomfortable since the cushions separate about 5 inches from each other, so you fall in the cracks. The main bedroom bed is a queen and isn’t that comfortable and seems small. My husband and I are used to a king so that’s just our opinion. There is not a washing machine and dryer in the unit like it shows. You will have to go down the hall and use the coin operated one. We chose condos that have the washer and dryer in units, so that was disappointing. The ceilings are paper thin the unit above us was really loud. They never stopped walking or running. It kept us up late and up early. There is hike to the West wall lift but it’s not to bad. ##### Julie C.
