Our new townhome in Buckhorn Ranch is just 5 minutes from downtown and 10 minutes from Mount Crested Butte. It’s the perfect home base for mountain adventures, all year long. The heated garage keeps your car snow-free and offers a great place to stash all your gear after a day of skiing, biking, or hiking. This is our personal home that we share with guests—we only get to visit Crested Butte 3–4 times a year, but we love every minute we’re here. As such, the home is stocked with the basics (paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap), but you’ll want to bring your own items like coffee, olive oil, and tin foil. We are a pet-friendly home, and our cleaners do a great job, but they may not be able to remove every trace of pet hair. If you or anyone in your group is highly sensitive to pet hair or dander, this may not be the best fit. Also, please keep in mind that Crested Butte is a remote mountain town—and that’s exactly why we love it. But it does come with some quirks. For example, the valley occasionally runs out of propane for the gas grill, so thanks in advance for rolling with the punches when those things happen. What a beautiful townhome in an incredible community! Located only minutes from town and skiing, a super convenient location. No busses or shuttles needed since parking is so easy around Crested Butte. The buckhorn ranch area is such a nice place to stay. We absolutely loved our stay in Crested Butte. We are a group that met at a camp and take a ski trip together this weekend every year. We absolutely loved the space - it worked so well for having dogs and the two car garage was awesome. The kitchen is beautiful - we made multiple meals and there’s plenty of seating. We had space for board games and puzzles. We loved the record player too. There’s also heated floors and big bathtubs which were amazing after a day of skiing. The entrance is also large for coming back and stripping off your ski clothes and throwing them in the dryer. Super scenic neighborhood- we enjoyed walking our dog down the road and appreciated how peaceful it was. The house was spotless, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked for making meals at home. Lots of homey touches too with tasteful decor and bikes to borrow. It was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the listing did not tell you that the condo is located in a new subdivision where construction is ongoing. There are numerous condos currently under construction immediately adjacent to this property. The work starts early in the morning and continues until evening.
