"The first room we got assigned had no towels, a dirty shower and missed pillow cases. The reception said that housekeeping couldn’t come back to clean and we were assigned another room. It appeared that it was cleaned but the airconditioning wasn’t working in this room. This property is old, not maintained (leaking air conditioning in the hallways) or cleaned (dirty carpets) . Secure on-site parking and a great breakfast are added bonuses. If you get here before 5pm, there’s a self check-in and you need your booking reference number for the kiosk at the hotel entrance. You then get a ticket with room number and passcode, Hotel is close to a Lidl and the wonderful old town on Dives-sur-Mer. "

"This is an original building that was on the beaches of Normandy in 1944 and before, and suffered damage from off shore gun fire from Allied Ships on the day of the assault.
