WATERFRONT Home - Dolphins, Sunsets, Fishing, Kayaks, Canoe, Wildlife

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (137)
"Excellent property located in a quiet, remote area of the panhandle. We went to visit our son in Tallahassee - 40/45 minute pleasant drive. Owner’s recommendations for food and activities are spot on. We did the aquarium, a boat ride at Wakulla Springs, a drive out to Alligator Point, the Lighthouse, and St. Marks. If you’re looking for a bit more night life on Friday/Saturday, there’s a rowdy crowd at the Riverside Cafe. We also enjoyed St. Marcos de Avalanche State Park. Very clean, well...

Blue Heron House, Blue Heron House

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (25)
"Enjoyed our stay at the Blue Heron House. Very clean and comfortable. Check in was easy. Simple, no frills home but met our needs perfectly. Beds were very comfortable and linens and towels very nice. Only steps away from pool and tennis courts and close to the beach as well. Dock was great for boating. Fishing was great during our visit. Grounds very well maintained. Close to some great eating spots. Very scenic area. Local festivals were a bonus! Communication with owner was top...

Bay, Beach, Pool, Fishing, Golf Cart!

9.0 out of 10, Wonderful, (88)
"Place was great since we could bring our
dogs
. It was mostly clean, a few areas were missed. Had everything you needed, and the golf cart was great. Nice friendly community with pool and activities going on. Really the only issue was keeping the bedrooms cool, but it was very hot outside. Probably could add extra air conditioners in bedrooms to help. The one in the kitchen was very useful."

Peace on the river. Wakulla springs nearby. Wakulla River adjoins property’.

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (26)
"Stayed at this VRBO cabin for 2 weeks while we were in between selling & buying houses in the area. It was a charming building with a comfortable bed and clean linens. When we arrived at the cabin there were dead ants all around the living and dining area. We cleaned them up, and more appeared daily. The house has well water, so need to bring lots of bottled water. There is no internet and VRBO made me think there was. I work from home and this was a problem for me. No cable or satellite service...

Watch the Manatees Swim by from This Peaceful Retreat with a Private Dock

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (22)
"Lovely stay.... on a beautiful river. Saw lots of deer, manatee, mullet jumping, and osprey. Enjoyed our walks in the neighborhood. Friendly neighbors and the
dog
loved the new area! We took our boat and fished every day out in the Gulf....lots of hungry fish in those parts! We did eat out which was fun, but most meals were made inside in the well-appointed kitchen. Bed and pillows were good too. The house is very clean. Thank you!"
