"Nice location just outside of the town centre a 15 to 20 minute walk to get to the Roman baths. Reasonably modern Hotel with free breakfast and evening food available from the bar.. complements to the hotel staff we met during our check-in and stay. They were very friendly and courteous and helped solve a problem we had with air-conditioning. I would recommend staying here because of our positive experience but be aware of the downside of this hotel in that the cost of parking your car with the Hotel discount is £50 per 24 hour period. There are alternatives to park in a car park 15 minutes away which of course is difficult if you have luggage or mobility challenges."

"I stayed one night and selected the hotel based on its proximity to the train station. It was an excellent choice for that, although there is some road construction going on directly around it which made rolling one’s bag a little more difficult than it would normally be. The hotel is a little “tired” but very clean well maintained. Good bed and very decent bar/restaurant. Not a hotel I would recommend for exploring Bristol over several days; but a great location for ease of train travel. The staff was excellent. Very welcoming and very helpful."

"We had a small suite which was amazing, really comfortable and clean, just a small niggle here the Air Con was not working properly so it was very hot at night. Also in the part of the building where we were only one of the two lifts was working which meant waiting around a long time. We had breakfast in the downstairs dining room, which was adequate. The two staff down there struggled to keep up and they ran out of orange juice glasses, scrambled egg and a couple of other items. I think particularly on Sunday they should have an extra person it was certainly busy enough. The food here was not the best but adequate for a good walk around Bristol. The hotel was very clean and I would definitely stay there again."

"Central location close to the Beacon, markets, restaurants and other food outlets, and pubs. Enclosed yard with tables and seating. Soft but comfortable bed. Quite tight bedroom and bathroom but OK. Great breakfast options. Just a little noisy into the early hours but England had just won at football!"

"Our room was lovely and the reception staff checked that we wanted the accessible room which we had been allocated, which we didn't especially as there wasn't a coffee machine in it! The cookies were welcome as we arrived late to check in. I would suggest that more milk is supplied because if you have a drink in the evening, there isn't milk left for tea in the morning. The reason I didn't give you 5 Stars was because there was only one bath sheet provided! The bed was so comfortable though and the position of the hotel, being near to Temple Meads and right next to the airport bus stop is perfect. We will be back"
